Edward Polewarczyk is an American politician who served as a member of the Maine House of Representatives. He represented Maine's 47th House district.
He was elected on November 8,2022,in the 2022 Maine House of Representatives election. He assumed office on December 7,2022. [2] He lost his reelection bid on November 5,2024,in the 2024 Maine House of Representatives election.
Polewarczyk served in the United States Army. He earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering in 1963 and a Master of Business Administration in 1973. He worked on the Space Shuttle program,being a member of the team that brought the first person to the moon. He is a Christian. [3] He is also a member of the school board of St. John's Catholic School. [4]
Joseph Edward Brennan was an American lawyer and politician from Maine. A member of the Democratic Party,he served as the 70th Governor of Maine from 1979 to 1987 and in the United States House of Representatives for Maine's 1st congressional district from 1987 to 1991. Brennan was a commissioner on the Federal Maritime Commission during the Clinton,George W. Bush,and Obama administrations.

Edward Kavanagh was a United States representative and the 17th Governor of Maine. Born in Newcastle in the Massachusetts District of Maine to Irish Catholic immigrants from County Wexford. He later attended Montreal Seminary and Georgetown College in Washington. He graduated from St. Mary's College (Baltimore) in 1813. He studied law,was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Damariscotta,Maine. He was a member of the Maine House of Representatives from 1826 to 1828,and was secretary of the state senate in 1830.

Gifford served as a Republican member of the Maine House of Representatives,representing the House District 12 from 2006 until 2014. He served on the House Agriculture,Conservation and Forestry Committee (third-term),and then House District 142 from 2020 until his death on June 12,2022.
