Barambah is a rural locality in the Gympie Region, Queensland, Australia. In the 2021 census, Barambah had a population of 39 people.

Barambah was an electoral district of the Legislative Assembly in the Australian state of Queensland from 1950 to 2001.

Dorothy Ruth "Dolly" Pratt is an Australian politician. Born in Coffs Harbour, New South Wales, she was a Justice of the Peace and coffee shop proprietor in Queensland before entering politics. She also worked at cattle sale yards. At the 1998 state election, she won the seat of Barambah in the Legislative Assembly of Queensland, representing Pauline Hanson's One Nation. She left One Nation in 1999 to sit as an independent. In 2001, her seat of Barambah was abolished and largely replaced with Nanango, which she won as an independent. Pratt was re-elected in 2004, 2006 and 2009. Pratt stood down at the 2012 election. She is married with three children.

The 1988 Barambah state by-election was a by-election held on 16 April 1988 for the Queensland Legislative Assembly seat of Barambah, based in the town of Kingaroy. The by-election was triggered by the resignation of National MP and former Premier Sir Joh Bjelke-Petersen. Until the by-election, the seat had been considered the Nationals' safest seat in Queensland.

Trevor John Perrett was an Australian politician. He was a member of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland from 1988 to 1998, representing the electorate of Barambah. Perrett was elected at the 1988 Barambah state by-election as an independent candidate. In December 1988 he switched to the Nationals. He represented the seat until his defeat by One Nation candidate Dorothy Pratt at the 1998 state election.
