The Estonia cricket team toured Finland in June 2022 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches at the Kerava National Cricket Ground in Kerava. [1] The series provided both sides with preparation for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe sub-regional qualifier tournaments. [2] Finland won both of the matches, winning by 23 runs and 11 runs respectively. [3]

The Finnish National Cricket Team is the team that represents the Republic of Finland in international cricket. It is organised by the Finnish Cricket Association.

The 2022 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup was an international limited-overs cricket tournament that was held in the West Indies in January and February 2022 with sixteen teams taking part. It was the fourteenth edition of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup, and the first that was held in the West Indies. Bangladesh were the defending champions.

The 2018–19 ICC T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of qualification process for the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup. Twelve regional qualifiers were held by the International Cricket Council (ICC), with 62 teams competing during 2018 in five regions – Africa, Americas (2), Asia (2), East Asia Pacific (2) and Europe (3). The top 25 sides from these progressed to five Regional Finals in 2019, with seven teams then going on to compete in the 2019 ICC T20 World Cup Qualifier, along with the six lowest ranked sides from the ICC T20I Championship.

The 2021 Women's Cricket World Cup Qualifier was an international women's cricket tournament that was held in Zimbabwe in November and December 2021. The tournament was the final part of the qualification process for the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup. All of the regional qualification tournaments used the Women's Twenty20 International format. The tournament was the fifth edition of the World Cup Qualifier, with the fixtures played as 50 overs matches. Originally, the top three teams from the qualifier would have progressed to the 2022 Women's Cricket World Cup in New Zealand. The top three teams, along with the next two best placed teams, also qualified for the next cycle of the ICC Women's Championship.

The 2022 Asia Cup Qualifier is a tournament scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka in August 2022 to determine qualification for the 2022 Asia Cup. The 2020 editions of the ACC Western and Eastern Region T20 tournaments were held in February and March 2020 by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), with thirteen teams competing in total with the aim of progressing to the qualifier. The Sweden cricket team toured Finland in August 2021 to play a four-match Twenty20 International (T20I) series. The matches were played at the Kerava National Cricket Ground in Kerava. Sweden travelled to Finland having played a series against Denmark the previous weekend. The two series were the first international action with the Swedish national team for their coach, former South African international cricketer Jonty Rhodes.

The Switzerland cricket team toured Luxembourg in June 2022 to play two Twenty20 International (T20I) matches at the Pierre Werner Cricket Ground in Walferdange. A friendly match was played the following day after the T20Is. The series provided both sides with preparation for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe sub-regional qualifier tournaments.

The 2022 T20I Nordic Cup was a cricket tournament played in Denmark from 7 to 8 May 2022, in the form of a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) bilateral series between the men's national teams of Denmark and Finland. Two games between Denmark and Finland 'A' teams were also included in the tour, scheduled before and after the T20I series. The venue for all of the matches was Svanholm Park in Brøndby. The event provided both teams with preparation for the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier subregional tournaments. Finland won the first T20I by three wickets, but Denmark then went on to win the next two matches to win the series 2–1.

The Hungary cricket team toured Austria from 4 to 5 June 2022, to play a three-match Twenty20 International (T20I) bilateral series against hosts Austria. The venue for all of the matches was Seebarn Cricket Ground. The series provided both teams with preparation for the 2022–23 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe Qualifier subregional tournaments. The series finished 1–1 with Austria winning the first game by 105 runs, the second game ending in a no result, and Hungary winning the final match by 4 wickets.

The Malta cricket team toured Belgium in June 2022 to play three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches. The series provided both sides with preparation for the 2022 ICC Men's T20 World Cup Europe sub-regional qualifier tournaments.
