Frankie Cocozza (born 17 January 1993) is a British singer from Brighton, England. He is currently the lead singer of British pop-rock band the Telescreen. [1]

Life and career

He appeared in The X Factor , and on 8 November 2011 Cocozza left the show, admitting his life had "gone out of control" while taking part in the show.[ citation needed ] He has released 2 EPs, a sell-out tour, and is currently working on an album with his band, the Telescreen. [2]

In January 2012, months after leaving The X Factor , Cocozza became a housemate on the ninth series of Celebrity Big Brother . He finished in second place losing out to actress and television presenter Denise Welch.

On 5 November 2012, Cocozza released his debut EP online, which reached No. 19 on iTunes. [3] 'She's Got A Motorcycle' was released as a single, with an accompanying video posted to YouTube. The music video shows Cocozza riding a motorcycle towards a wall of fire. The single reached number 89 in the UK chart. [4]

On 21 April 2013, Cocozza released his second EP to iTunes, titled 'Embrace' which failed to chart [5] Five months later, on 13 September 2013, Cocozza and his band The Telescreen announced through their official PledgeMusic site that they were planning to release a debut album set to launch early 2014 if funding succeeded. [1] On 26 February 2014, Cocozza released his band's debut single 'Kids' online. [6]

Personal life

Cocozza married Bianca Murphy in 2018. [7] The couple live in Sydney, Australia. [8] Their son was born in May 2019. [8]

Stan Walker is an Australian-born New Zealand singer, actor, and television personality. In 2009, Walker was the winner of the seventh and last season of Australian Idol. He subsequently signed a recording contract with Sony Music Australia. In December 2009, Walker released his debut studio album, Introducing Stan Walker, which included the hit single, "Black Box". The album debuted at number three on the Australian ARIA Albums Chart and was certified platinum by the Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA). Lightning (song) 2011 single by The Wanted

"Lightning" is a song by British-Irish boy band The Wanted, taken as the third single from their second studio album, Battleground. It was released on 16 October 2011. The song was written by Steve Mac, Wayne Hector and Ed Drewett, the same team responsible for the band's number-one single, "Glad You Came". The song debuted at number two on the UK Singles Chart, behind Rihanna's "We Found Love". The single was originally intended for release in the United States, following the success of "Glad You Came", and a promotional remix single was issued, however, its release was cancelled.

The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eighth series commenced airing on ITV on 20 August 2011 and ended on 11 December 2011. The winner was Little Mix, a four-piece girl group known earlier in the series as Rhythmix, consisting of members Jesy Nelson, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall. They became the first act in the groups category to win in the UK show's history with new judge Tulisa emerging as their winning mentor. Dermot O'Leary presented the main show on ITV, while Caroline Flack and series 6 runner-up Olly Murs co-presented the spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2, replacing Konnie Huq from the previous year. Louis Walsh returned to the judging panel and was joined by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa. Barlow, Rowland and Tulisa joined the panel as replacements for former judges, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Series 5 winner Alexandra Burke served as a guest judge for week 4 of the live shows due to Rowland having a throat infection.

Reece Mastin is an English-Australian singer and songwriter who won the third season of The X Factor Australia in 2011. Mastin subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia. His debut single "Good Night" reached number one in Australia and New Zealand, and became Sony Music Australia's fastest selling digital single. Mastin's self-titled debut album debuted at number two on the ARIA Albums Chart and was certified double platinum. His second studio album Beautiful Nightmare (2012) included the hit singles "Shut Up & Kiss Me" and "Shout It Out", the latter became Mastin's second number-one single in Australia. Union J English boy band

Union J were an English boy band, their final lineup consisting of members JJ Hamblett and Jaymi Hensley. The band previously also included George Shelley, who left in 2016 and was replaced by Casey Johnson, who left several months later , and Josh Cuthbert, who left in 2018. The band formed in 2011, originally as a trio known as Triple J, consisting of Cuthbert, Hamblett and Hensley. They auditioned for the ninth series of the British television music competition The X Factor where they met Shelley who joined the band at the judges' request. They finished fourth and were subsequently signed to Sony Music subsidiary RCA Records. Their debut single "Carry You" was released in June 2013. Their self-titled debut studio album followed in October 2013 and peaked at number 6 on the UK Albums Chart.

Jai Waetford Australian musician

Jai Waetford is an Australian pop singer and songwriter who came third on the fifth season of The X Factor Australia. He subsequently signed with Sony Music Australia and released his debut single "Your Eyes", which peaked at number six on the ARIA Singles Chart. Waetford's self-titled debut EP was released in December 2013 and peaked at number 21 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Waetford joined the Australian soap opera Neighbours in February 2016 as Angus Beaumont-Hannay; his debut episode aired on 2 May. His latest EP Heart Miles was released 3 June 2016.

Kingsland Road were an English rock and roll-style and urban-inspired funk and disco boy band formed in 2012. The band is made up of Matt Cahill, Joe "Connor" Conaboy, JJ Thompson and Josh Zaré. Originally a five-piece that included Jay Scott, they finished in ninth place on the tenth series of The X Factor in 2013.

Her debut EP Young Blood was released in 2014, and her debut album Not an Apology was released on July 24, 2015. In 2016, she released the single "Yes Girl". During 2017, she released the EPs Chapter One: Blue, Chapter Two: Red, and Chapter Three: Yellow. The three EPs, along with five additional songs, were collected as her second studio album, Aurora.

Greta Van Fleet American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan

Greta Van Fleet is an American rock band from Frankenmuth, Michigan, formed in 2012. It consists of Kiszka brothers Josh (vocals), Jake (guitar) and Sam ; and Danny Wagner (drums). They were signed to Lava Records in March 2017, and a month later they released their debut studio EP, Black Smoke Rising. Their debut single, "Highway Tune", topped the Billboard U.S. Mainstream Rock and Active Rock charts in September 2017 for four weeks in a row. Their second EP, From the Fires, containing the four songs from Black Smoke Rising and four new songs, was released on November 10, 2017, alongside a second single, "Safari Song". From the Fires went on to win the 2019 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
