Oluwafunmilayo Kemi Jimoh (born May 29, 1984, in Seattle, Washington), commonly known as Funmi Jimoh, is an American long jumper, who competed at the 2008 Summer Olympics. [1] [2]
Jimoh competed for Rice University. At Rice, Jimoh competed in both the long jump and sprinting events, such as the 100 meter hurdles. [3] She jumped 22 feet ¾ inch (6.72 meters) in July 2008 in Eugene, Oregon to place third at the U.S. Olympic Trials to qualify for the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing. [1]
At the Olympics, Jimoh jumped 6.61 meters in the qualifying round of the women's long jump. That distance tied for ninth in qualifying and earned Jimoh a place in the final. Jimoh placed eleventh in the final, with a jump of 6.29 meters. [2]
During 2009 World Championships in Berlin, Jimoh placed 21st in qualifying with a jump of 6.34 meters and failed to make the final. At the 2011 World Championships, Jimoh placed 12th. She also placed 13th in 2013.
Her personal best is 6.96 meters which she achieved in Doha on 8 May 2009. [4]

Chaunté Lowe is an American athlete who competes in the high jump. A four-time Olympian, she is the 2008 Olympic bronze medalist, the 2005 World Championship silver medalist and the 2012 World Indoor gold medalist. She initially finished sixth in the 2008 Olympic high jump final, but was promoted to the bronze medal in 2016 after three competitors were disqualified for doping. She is the American record holder in the women's high jump with an outdoor clearance of 2.05 m in 2010, and holds the indoor record with a clearance of 2.02 m in 2012.
Blessing Oghnewresem Okagbare-Otegheri is a former Nigerian track and field athlete who specialized in long jump and sprints. She is an Olympic and World Championships medallist in the long jump and a world medalist in the 200 metres. Okagbare also holds the women's 100 metres Commonwealth Games record at 10.85 seconds. She is currently serving a 10-year ban for breaching multiple World Athletics anti-doping rules. Her ban expires on 30 July 2032.
Shannon Solares-Rowbury is an American middle-distance runner from San Francisco, California. After competing collegiately for Duke University, she turned professional in 2007.
