Mahikeng, formerly known as Mafikeng and alternatively known as Mafeking, is the capital city of the North West province of South Africa.

Located on the south-eastern foothills of Mount Kenya, the Municipality of Embu had a population of 204,979 in 2019 census. Embu is also the 8th Largest Municipality in Kenya. It is the commercial hub of the Central Eastern part of Kenya and provides an avenue for trade, tourism and highway transit between the national capital and the Northern Frontier.
Chetwynd is a district municipality located in the eastern foothills of the Rocky Mountains, in northeastern British Columbia, Canada. Situated on an ancient floodplain, it is the first town eastbound travellers encounter after emerging from the Rockies along Highway 97, and acts as the gateway to the Peace River Country. The town developed during the construction of infrastructure through the Rocky Mountains in the 1950s; additionally, it was used as a transshipment point during the building of hydroelectric dams, in the 1960s and 1970s, and the new town of Tumbler Ridge, in the early 1980s. Home to approximately 2,600 residents, the town’s population has increased little—if at all—since the 1980s, but is significantly younger than the provincial average.

The village was named for its original settler, Jeremiah Kyle, in 1923. Kyle is 72 kilometres (45 mi) north of Swift Current, and is situated along the remains of the historic Swift Current-Battleford Trail, 201 kilometres (125 mi) south-west of Saskatoon, 320 kilometres (200 mi) west of Regina and 32 kilometres (20 mi) north of Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park on Highway 4.
Whitewood is a town in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. It is approximately 175 kilometres (109 mi) east of Regina on the Trans-Canada Highway Sk Hwy 1. It is situated at the crossroads of two major highways systems — the Trans-Canada, which runs east and west, and Sk Hwy 9, which runs north and south from the US border to Hudson Bay, Saskatchewan. It is located midway between Brandon, Manitoba and Regina.
Dundurn is a town of 647 residents surrounded by the RM of Dundurn No. 314, in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan. Dundurn is located on Highway 11, or Louis Riel Trail, in central Saskatchewan, about 42 km south of Saskatoon. As well as being an agricultural town, it is a bedroom community for both Saskatoon and Canadian Forces Detachment Dundurn, which is located 6 kilometres (4 mi) north of town and is a detachment of 17 Wing Winnipeg.

The community is situated along Highway 10.

Kagisano–Molopo Municipality is a local municipality within the Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality, in the North West province of South Africa. It was created at the local government elections of 18 May 2011 by merging the Kagisano and Molopo municipalities.
Kraaipan is a town in Ngaka Modiri Molema District Municipality in the North West province of South Africa and its situation is amazing because the village is found in between the three towns, namely; Vryburg, Delareyville and Mahikeng on the. The village was formerly known as "'Mahukubung'", meaning the place of crows, which were found on a vlei or a pan by the colonizers who camped, settled, and named the place "Kraaipan" during the nights of the Anglo-Boer War initiation, they found a community of the Barolong who broke away from their Capital City of Ga-Khunwana, the council of Setlagole, an adminstration of Motsitlane, Ga-Thulo, Morokwa, Tlhakajeng, Mohuhuco, Motlhanaoa-pitse, Ralebelwane, Mothokaditse and other small villages to name few. This breakup was made by Mzilikazi's war attacks.., leaving the community dismantled and reintegrated later after the he conquered Ga-Khunwana on his conquest. There were MaTebele who left Mzilikazi's trek and formed the society with BaRolong who remained surviving, those were the groups who were found by the first Missionaries who were from overseas.
