Garett Grist (born April 9, 1995 in Grimsby, Ontario, Canada) is a racing driver.
Grist made his professional debut in the 2013 U.S. F2000 National Championship from Andretti Autosport. In 2014 moved up the Road to Indy ladder into the Pro Mazda Championship from Andretti Autosport. He returned to the series in 2015 from Juncos Racing. [1] He finished third in points with three wins. He returned to the team in series in 2016 but decided to move to Indy Lights with Team Pelfrey halfway through the season.

Andretti Autosport, currently rebranding to Andretti Global, is an American motorsports organization with teams competing in the IndyCar Series, Indy NXT, Formula E, Extreme E, and joint entries in IMSA and the Australian Supercars Championship. The team was founded as Forsythe/Green Racing by Gerald Forsythe and Barry Green in 1993, and was known for most of its formative years as Team Green under the control of Green and his brother Kim, competing in the CART Indy Car World Series. 1991 CART champion Michael Andretti purchased a stake in the team in 2002, renaming it to Andretti Green Racing and switching to the Indy Racing League for the 2003 season. From 2009 through 2023, the team was known as Andretti Autosport, with Andretti in full control of the team. Following a restructuring during the 2023 season, the team rebranded to Andretti Global in deference to the teams new parent company, formed in 2022 by Andretti and businessman Dan Towriss to pursue a Formula One entry.
The USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires, formerly known as the Star Mazda Championship, Pro Mazda Championship, and later Indy Pro 2000 Championship, is an open-wheel racing series serving as the third step on the Road to Indy ladder system, between the U.S. F2000 Championship and Indy NXT. The series is sanctioned by the United States Auto Club and operated by Andersen Promotions. The series' champion is awarded a scholarship package to advance to Indy Lights competition for the following season. It competes on all open-wheel disciplines: road courses, street courses, and ovals.

Juncos Hollinger Racing, formerly Juncos Racing, is an Argentine-American racing team competing in the NTT IndyCar Series, Indy Lights and Indy Pro 2000 Championship series in the Road to Indy ladder for IndyCar. Owned by Ricardo Juncos, who formed the team in 1997, the team was initially based in Argentina before limited racing opportunities in that country led to the team moving to the United States. The team is currently based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Following Williams F1 shareholder Brad Hollinger's entry to the team as partner in 2021, the team was renamed to Juncos Hollinger Racing.
The 2015 Pro Mazda Championship was the 17th season in series history. The series consisted of sixteen races at nine tracks, having expanded from fourteen races in 2014; adding races at NOLA Motorsports Park, the Streets of Toronto, Iowa Speedway and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, while dropping races at Houston, Milwaukee and Sonoma Raceway. The season began on March 28 at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg and ended on September 13 at Laguna Seca.

The 2017 Verizon IndyCar Series was the 22nd season of the Verizon IndyCar Series and the 106th official championship season of American open wheel racing. The premier event was the 101st Indianapolis 500 won by Takuma Sato. Josef Newgarden, the 2011 Indy Lights champion, in his sixth full-time season in the IndyCar Series, won the championship. It was Newgarden's first season as part of Team Penske, and he collected four wins, one pole position, and ten top-five finishes. It was Team Penske's 15th Indy car season championship, and third in four years.

The Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca round to end the season was omitted, as it was for the other Road to Indy series.

Oliver Askew won a tight championship race with Rinus Veekay. Askew won seven races to Veekay's six. Toby Sowery, Robert Megennis, and Ryan Norman each captured a single race win as did Aaron Telitz, who only participated in seven mid-season races, and Zachary Claman, who won the season opener but dropped out of the series after six races due to funding issues. Julien Falchero also dropped out of the season after four races after expected good results failed to materialize. Jarett Andretti made his first and only Indy Lights start in the Freedom 100 and set fastest lap on his way to a sixth place finish. Dalton Kellett moved onto IndyCar after this season despite only registering a single podium finish in 2019 Indy Lights.

After going into a hiatus in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the season started on April 17 at Barber Motorsports Park and was held over 20 races spanning ten meetings.
The 2023 Firestone Indy NXT Series was the 36th season of the Indy NXT open wheel motor racing series and the 21st sanctioned by IndyCar, acting as the primary support series for the IndyCar Series. Known as Indy Lights before 2023, the championship was rebranded following its acquisition by Penske Entertainment, the owner of the IndyCar Series, in 2022. This rebrand coincided with the three lower support series, still run by Anderson Promotions, also changing their branding.
