Gebeng is a small town and main industrial area near Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. The town is located near Kuantan Port. The phase 1 of the East Coast Expressway leads to Gebeng.
The industrial area was developed over two phases since the 1970s.
Phase One is near the main trunk road (Kuantan-Gebeng by-pass, national highway 2) and consisting of small and medium scale industries such as wood processing industries, metal works factories and concrete ducting company. Phase Two was developed in the early 1990s and the majority of industries here are petrochemical companies such as Petronas MTBE-Polypropylene, BP Chemicals, WR Grace, EASTMAN, Kaneka and Cryovac. The third phase currently occupied by Polyplastics Asia Pacific, BASF-Petronas, Petronas CUF, Petronas Centralized Emergency Facilities and PDH Plant.
The Gebeng industrial area is home to the controversial Lynas Advanced Materials Plant.
There are also industrial activities at the Kuantan Port Industrial Area where FPG Oleochemicals (FELDA Procter & Gamble), FELDA palm oil mill, Air Products, Kuantan Flour Mills and several other companies are situated here.
As with much of Kuantan district, Gebeng is administered by the Kuantan City Council (Majlis Bandaraya Kuantan).
Gebeng Industrial Area was delineated as an autonomous sub-district (daerah kecil) for land revenue purposes in 2020. [1]

Tanjung Kidurong, known as simply Kidurong, is a port township in Bintulu District, Sarawak, Malaysia. Approximately 15 minutes from the centre of Bintulu, Kidurong functions as the main industrial core of the Bintulu area. The MLNG Complex, which is the largest single gas manufacturing complex in the world, is in Kidurong. Shell and Murphy are among the other oil and gas multinationals that operate in the Kidurong Industrial Estate. The oil and gas industry in the Kidurong Industrial Area since the 1980s has brought along an expatriate community, who also live in Kidurong, notably around Tamam Matahari and MLNG Housing. This has also led to a higher price of homes in Kidurong, compared to the other suburbs in Bintulu town. There is also a fairly large squatter community around the Sg. Plan area, which is roughly 3 km (1.9 mi) from the middle-class and prosperous neighbourhoods in the area. Most of the squatters came from rural areas in search of a better life in Bintulu.

Tun Razak Highway, Federal Route 12(Lebuhraya Tun Razak), also known as Segamat-Kuantan Highway(Lebuhraya Segamat-Kuantan), Asian Highway Route 142, is a 146.8 kilometres (91 mi) federal highway running from the town of Segamat, Johor to Gambang before proceeding another 38 kilometres (24 mi) via Federal Route 2 to Gambang near Kuantan, Pahang. This two-lane federal road is named in honor of Tun Abdul Razak, Malaysia's second Prime Minister who was also known as Malaysia's Father of Development. The highway is part of the Asian Highway Network of route 142.
The Peninsular Gas Utilization (PGU) is the longest pipeline in Malaysia. The 1,700-kilometer-pipeline connects the Kerteh refinery in Terengganu to other areas of peninsula Malaysia. It is owned and operated by Petronas Gas Berhad on behalf of its holding company Petronas.

Passengers have to walk from the aircraft to the arrival hall.

East Coast Economic Region(ECER) (Malay: Wilayah Ekonomi Pantai Timur; Jawi: ولايه ايكونومي ڤنتاي تيمور) is an economic development region based on the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, which covers the states of Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang, and the Johorean districts of Mersing and Segamat. ECER is also one of the three economic corridors launched in Peninsular Malaysia under the leadership of Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia. The other corridors are Iskandar Malaysia in Johor and the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) that covers the states of Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Northern Perak. The ECER development program spans 12 years, beginning in 2007, and involves Public-Private Participation (PPP).
Bandar Damansara is a township in Kuantan District, Pahang, Malaysia. It was first launched in June 2000. The township encompasses an area of 2,050 acres (8.3 km2) and is situated 10 km north of Kuantan and is adjacent to the Kuantan Bypass, which connects Kuantan with the Kuantan Port.

She is a member of the People's Justice Party (PKR), a component party of the PH coalition. She also served as the Women Chief of PKR from July 2020 to July 2022 and Vice President of PKR from November 2010 to August 2014 as well as the State Chairperson of PH of Pahang from March 2019 to September 2022.
The Kerteh–Kuantan Port railway line is a defunct railway line in the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia. This 77 km long 1,000 mm gauge railway line connected the Petronas oil refinery in Kerteh, Terengganu, to Kuantan Port in Kuantan, Pahang. This railway line crossed the five towns in Kemaman in Terengganu and Cherating in Kuantan, Pahang. It was managed by Petronas. The rail operation was terminated on November 2010.
The East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) is a standard gauge double-track railway link infrastructure project connecting Port Klang on the Straits of Malacca to Kota Bharu in northeast Peninsular Malaysia, connecting the East Coast Economic Region states of Pahang, Terengganu and Kelantan to one another, and to the Central Region of the Peninsula's west coast.
