George Joseph Olakkengil is an Indian composer, programmer and music producer who primarily works in Hindi films. [1] He started his career with associated acts with film composer Ram Sampath, who also lived in the same Chembur neighborhood, as music programmer and producer. Joseph has collaborated with several music directors including the likes of composer duo Salim–Sulaiman, Shantanu Moitra, Raju Singh, Clinton Cerejo, Lesle Lewis (composer) and Ranjit Barot. He made his debut as a score composer in 2012 and went on to program/ produce background score for several Bollywood Hindi, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali, [2] and English-language films. Joseph worked on the trailer and produced the musical theme for the American mystery thriller Broken Horses in 2015.
Born to Joseph Olakkengil an educator and Thressiama John a banker; George Joseph spent his childhood in Pavaratty, near Guruvayoor, in the Thrissur district of Kerala. His early interest in music started from playing guitar and violin. On a later stage Joseph started experimenting with key board which was instrumental in pursuing music career. After completing schooling in Thrissur; in 1995–96 Joseph joined School of Engineering, CUSAT at CUSAT campus in Kochi for Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical engineering, which he completed in the year 2000. In the same year he joined SAE Institute Chennai to pursue his interest in music.
In 2003; after completing sound engineering course from the SAE Institute at Chennai, Joseph relocated to Chembur, Mumbai to pursue a career in film music. Initially George worked as sound engineer to composers and started freelancing works with Ram Sampath, Shantanu Moitra and Raju Singh.

Naushad Ali was an Indian composer for Hindi films. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest and foremost music directors of the Hindi film industry. He is particularly known for popularising the use of classical music in films.
Akkineni Nagarjuna Rao, known mononymously as Nagarjuna, is an Indian actor, film producer, television presenter, and entrepreneur. Shantanu Moitra is an Indian score composer, musician and pianist who has composed songs for the Hindi film industry, and is most known for his scores in the films Parineeta (2005), Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi (2005), Lage Raho Munnabhai (2006) and 3 Idiots (2009), and private albums, Mann ke Manjeere and Ab ke Saawan sung by Shubha Mudgal. In 2014, he received the National Film Award for Best Music Direction for Na Bangaaru Talli.
Swanand Kirkire is an Indian lyricist, playback singer, writer, assistant director, actor and dialogue writer, both in television with Marathi and Hindi films.

Sona Mohapatra is an Indian singer, music composer and lyricist. In addition to her own material, Mohapatra has recorded remixes of songs by David Bowie, with "Let's Dance", and INXS, with "Afterglow", with the latter proving particularly successful.

Pandaga Chesko (transl. Celebrate) is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language masala film directed by Gopichand Malineni and produced by Paruchuri Kireeti on the United Movies banner. The film stars Ram, Rakul Preet Singh and Sonal Chauhan and Sampath Raj, Abhimanyu Singh, Sai Kumar, Adithya, Brahmanandam, Rao Ramesh, Pavitra Lokesh, Tejaswi Madivada, Vennela Kishore and Raghu Babu in other important roles. The story was penned by Veligonda Srinivas and the screenplay was provided by Kona Venkat and Anil Ravipudi, with the former writing the dialogues. S. Abhijit Vaghani is an Indian film score composer, music composer and music producer.
October is the soundtrack album to the 2018 Bollywood film of the same name, directed by Shoojit Sircar. The album is composed by Shantanu Moitra, Anupam Roy and Abhishek Arora and features playback singers such as Armaan Malik, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Sunidhi Chauhan and Monali Thakur. It was released on 28 March 2018 by Zee Music Company. The album consists of five tracks whose lyrics are penned by Swanand Kirkire, Tanveer Ghazi and Abhiruchi Chand.
Kailas Menon is an Indian film composer who works predominantly in Malayalam films and commercials. 3 Idiots is the soundtrack to the 2009 Indian Hindi-language film of the same name written and directed by Rajkumar Hirani and co-written by Abhijat Joshi. The soundtrack featured five original songs and two remixes composed and produced by Shantanu Moitra and lyrics written by Swanand Kirkire.
Gulabo Sitabo is the soundtrack to the 2020 Hindi-language comedy-drama film of the same name directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi. The film's music was composed by Shantanu Moitra, Abhishek Arora and Anuj Garg with lyrics written by Puneet Sharma, Dinesh Pant and Vinod Dubey. Shanthanu Moitra also composed the film score. It was released by Zee Music Company on 22 May 2020.
Sardar Udham is the soundtrack to the 2021 film of the same name directed by Shoojit Sircar, starring Vicky Kaushal as Udham Singh, a freedom fighter from Punjab who assassinated Michael O'Dwyer in London to avenge the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar. Sircar's regular collaborator Shantanu Moitra composed the film score; being a songless film, the soundtrack accompanied six instrumental compositions used in the film and produced by George Joseph. The soundtrack was released by Zee Music Company on 2 October 2021.
PK is the soundtrack to the 2014 film of the same name directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The soundtrack featured seven tracks—four songs and a theme music composed by Shantanu Moitra, and one song each composed by Ajay–Atul and Ankit Tiwari. Swanand Kirkire penned four songs, while Manoj Muntashir and Amitabh Varma penned one song each. The soundtrack was released on 5 November 2014, preceded by four singles: "Tharki Chokro" "Love Is a Waste of Time", "Nanga Punga Dost" and "Chaar Kadam".
