Goreway Power Station is a natural gas power station owned by Capital Power Corporation, in Brampton, Ontario. The plant is used primarily during periods of peak demand. Gas is supplied by underground pipelines from the nearby Enbridge facility. [2]

Chubu Electric Power Japanese company

Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc., abbreviated as Chuden in Japanese, is a Japanese electric utilities provider for the middle Chūbu region of the Honshu island of Japan. It provides electricity at 60 Hz, though an area of Nagano Prefecture uses 50 Hz. Chubu Electric Power ranks third among Japan's largest electric utilities in terms of power generation capacity, electric energy sold, and annual revenue. Roosecote Power Station

Roosecote Power Station was a gas-fired, originally coal-fired power station, situated in the Roosecote district of Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria, North West England. The gas-fired station opened in 1991 and was the first CCGT power station to supply electricity to the United Kingdom's National Grid, but was mothballed in 2012 after a proposed biomass power station was cancelled. It was situated directly adjacent to Rampside Gas Terminal. The plant was demolished between 2014 and 2015.

Rocksavage Power Station

Rocksavage Power Station is an 800 MWe gas-fired power station on Cow Hey Lane in Runcorn just off the A557, at the junction of the River Weaver and River Mersey, and near junction 12 of the M56.

Thorold Co-generation Plant is a natural gas-fired station owned by Northland Power, brought into operation on March 28, 2010. The plant also supplies steam to the nearby AbitibiBowater paper mill. Power is produced under contract to the Ontario Power Authority.

GTAA Cogeneration Plant is a combined cycle natural gas and steam power station owned by the Greater Toronto Airports Authority, in Mississauga, Ontario. The plant is primarily used to supply steam and power to the Toronto Pearson International Airport with surplus power sold onto the Ontario grid. The plant is located across from the airport at Elmbank Road and Network Road next to the Central Utilities Plant.

St Clair Energy Centre is a natural gas power station owned by St Clair Power LP, in St. Clair, Ontario. The plant is primarily used to supply power onto the Ontario Grid. The plant was partially built from equipment originally intended for a partially built, four-unit CCGT in Nelson Township, IL.
