Gorodishchensky District (Russian : Городи́щенский райо́н) is an administrative [1] district (raion), one of the thirty-three in Volgograd Oblast, Russia. As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Gorodishchensky Municipal District. [4] It is located in the southern central part of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,450 square kilometers (950 sq mi). [5] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Gorodishche.
