Gouvix is a commune in the Calvados department in the Normandy region in northwestern France.

Geography

The River Laize a tributary to the Orne flows through the commune. ^[3] in addition the Ruisseau de Corneville stream is the only other water course flowing through the commune. ^[4]

• Domaine du château d'Outrelaize - a sixteenth centaury Chateau and gardens listed as a monument in 1971. ^[7]
• église Notre-Dame de Gouvix - a thirteenth centaury church listed as a monument in 1927. ^[8]
• La Pierre Tourneresse - a Neolithic Menhir that was listed as a monument in 1936. ^[9]
