Gradski stadion is a football stadium in Bijelo Polje, Montenegro. It is currently used for football matches and is the home ground of FK Jedinstvo, FK Tekstilac and OFK Borac. The stadium holds 4,000 people.

History

FK Jedinstvo played home games at the location of Gradski stadion since 1945. Following promotion of FK Jedinstvo to First League of Serbia and Montenegro, the stadium was renovated in 2005, with 3,000 seats on the main stand and 1,000 seats on the other stand. [1]

Pitch and conditions

The pitch measures 110 x 70 meters. The stadium didn't met UEFA criteria for European competitions. At the north side of stadium is situated indoor sports hall 'Nikoljac'.

Stadion kraj Bistrice, also known as Gradski stadion Nikšić, is a multi-purpose stadium in Nikšić, Montenegro. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Sutjeska and a host of Montenegro national under-21 football team matches. The stadium has a total of 5,214 seats before the construction of a new west stand began in late 2019.

Fudbalski klub Tekstilac was a Montenegrin football club based in Bijelo Polje. Their last official season was 2013-14, spent in the Montenegrin Third League.

The 2006–07 Montenegrin First League season was the inaugural season of the league as Montenegro's top-tier football competition. Although the league existed before, it was previously a second-tier league, underneath the Serbo-Montenegrin First League. Upon the independence of Montenegro, and the establishment of a Montenegrin Football Association, the league became disassociated with the Serbo-Montenegrin league and thus was given its present position.

The 2007-08 Montenegrin First League was the second season of the top-tier football in Montenegro, since the vote for Montenegrin independence split the Montenegrin FA from Serbia's. Before the independence of Montenegro, football clubs from that country played in different competitions. From 1945 to 2006, Montenegrin club played in the leagues of SFR Yugoslavia, FR Yugoslavia and the State Union of Serbia and Montenegro.

OFK Borac is a Montenegrin football club based in Bijelo Polje. Founded in 2015, they are among youngest football clubs in country and currently are members of the Montenegrin Third League.
