Sandbach Flashes are a group of 14 wetlands west of Sandbach in Cheshire, England. The flashes were designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1963, with a total area of 1.53 km2. There are a number of individual flashes including Bottom's Flash, Crabmill Flash, Elton Hall Flash, Fodens Flash, Groby's Flash, Ilse Pool, Moston Flashes, Pump House Flash, Railway Flash, Red Lane Tip and Pool, and Watch Lane Flash.
Badby Wood is a 47.2-hectare (117-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) south of Badby in Northamptonshire.
Sheet Hedges Wood is in the parish of Newtown Linford, and lies some 1-mile (1.6 km) north of Groby, in Leicestershire, UK. The site is made up of two areas of woodland and a meadow field, all with public access, extending 29 acres (120,000 m2). The woodland block is adjacent to the road includes a car park and access trails.

The eastern half of Stoke Wood is managed by the Woodland Trust, a triangular area of 0.7 hectares which stretches south from the middle is the Stoke Wood End Quarter, a nature reserve managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, and the remaining western part of the wood is private property. Bowd Lane Wood is private property.
Stoke Wood End Quarter is a 0.7-hectare (1.7-acre) nature reserve west of Corby in Northamptonshire. It is managed by the Wildlife Trust for Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire, and is part of the Stoke and Bowd Lane Woods Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Coombe Hill Hollow is a 4.3-hectare (11-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest north of Sibbertoft in Northamptonshire.

It is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I, and parts of it are a national nature reserve, and a Geological Conservation Review, It is part of the Breckland Special Area of Conservation, and Special Protection Area A large part of this dry heathland site is calcareous grassland, and some areas are grazed by sheep or rabbits. There are several nationally rare plants and an uncommon heathland bird, and many lichens and mosses.
