György Balázs (Hungarian : Balázs György) (born 24 July 1985 [1] ) is a retired tennis player from Hungary. [2] He played for the Hungarian Davis Cup team in 2010 and 2011 [3] His younger brother Attila also tennis player, [4] they won 5 ITF doubles title with together.

Balázs Taróczy is a retired tennis player from Hungary. The right-hander won 13 singles titles in his career, and achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 12 in April 1982.

Attila Sávolt is a tennis player from Hungary, who represented his native country at the 2000 Sydney Olympics where he lost to Paradorn Srichaphan in his first match. Starting his professional career in 1995, he peaked the ATP-ranking on May 20, 2002, reaching 68 on the world rankings. The Hungary men's national tennis team represents Hungary in Davis Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Hungarian Tennis Association.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">József Asbóth</span> Hungarian tennis player

József Asbóth was a Hungarian tennis player. Born to a family of railway workers, he is best remembered for being the first Hungarian and first player from Eastern Europe to win a Grand Slam singles title, at the 1947 French Open. He remains the only Hungarian male player to win a Grand Slam singles title. Asbóth was a clay court specialist who was good at keeping the ball in play.

The Hungary women's national tennis team represents Hungary in Fed Cup tennis competition and are governed by the Magyar Tenisz Szövetség. They currently compete in the Europe/Africa Zone of Group I.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">István Gulyás</span> Hungarian tennis player

István Gulyás was the second Hungarian male tennis player to become a Grand Slam finalist. He was defeated in the 1966 French Open Men's final by Tony Roche of Australia in three sets, after allowing the match to be delayed 24 hours to allow Roche to recover from an ankle injury. It was Gulyas' lone Grand Slam final, though he made the semi-finals of the tournament the following year. He was ranked inside the world's Top 10 on more than one occasion and holds the record for most Hungarian National Championship titles having won it 15 times in his career. Lance Tingay of The Daily Telegraph ranked Gulyás as world No. 8 in 1966.
