Tennent is an unincorporated community located within Manalapan Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Considered to be the historic center of Manalapan Township, Tennent is home to the Old Tennent Church and Old Tennent Cemetery. William Tennent served as pastor at the church for over 40 years. Tennent was also the center of a historic community of African Americans dating back to the early nineteenth century. The location of Tennent is located at the modern intersection of County Route 522 and Tennent Road and is near the limits of Monmouth Battlefield State Park.
Siloam is an unincorporated community located within Freehold Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Siloam was once the site of a school serving a district in the township until 1936. County Route 527 passes through the center of Siloam. Exit 21 on Interstate 195 provides access to Siloam from the south. Except around the center of the settlement at the junction of CR 527 and Ely Harmony Road, the area consists of forests comprising the northernmost reaches of the Pine Barrens. The homes in the area are smaller in size and are found only along the aforementioned roads.

Bucks Mill Road is the main road that passes north and south through the area; County Route 537 travels to the south of Bucks Mill, near the Hominy Hill Golf Course. Homes, equestrian facility and horse farms, and the township-owned Bucks Mill Recreational Area are located in the area. The settlement is named for Bucks Mill, a gristmill that derived its power from a watermill on the Yellow Brook. Originally built in 1854 and owned for many years by William Buck, Alfred Buck, and Garrett Buck, it was destroyed by a fire on October 30, 1967. The watermill is the only remaining artifact of the original complex and stands today on the side of Bucks Mill Road.

Cooleys Corner is an unincorporated community located within Upper Freehold Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The site of the settlement is within the Assunpink Wildlife Management Area, a New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Division of Fish and Wildlife-operated preserved area in Monmouth and Mercer counties along the Assunpink Creek. Before the creation of the Assunpink Lake in the 1970s, the area consisted of farmland located at the intersection of Clarksburg Road and Imlaystown-Hightstown Road. Some farmland is still present in the area but is now mostly used by hunters. The main boat ramp to Assunpink Lake is located along the former Imlaystown-Hightstown Road.
Crawford Corners or Crawfords Corner is an unincorporated community located within Holmdel Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. The settlement is located at the intersection of Holmdel Road and Crawfords Corners Road in the hilly northern portion of the township. The settlement is located about one-half mile (0.80 km) from Crawford Hill, the highest point in Monmouth County. The area also includes the township's town hall, police department, and high school in addition to a New Jersey State Police barracks and the PNC Bank Arts Center off the Garden State Parkway. These buildings and landmarks comprise the eastern section of the settlement, homes and heavily treed lands are located on the west side of Holmdel Road, and Holmdel Park makes up the southern portion of the area.

Today, the settlement is located along Stage Coach Road, County Route 524, in the eastern portion of the township. Most of the area consists of large single-family homes though some farmland and the township-owned Brandywine Soccer Complex are located in the near the settlement.

Sharon is an unincorporated community located within Upper Freehold Township in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States. Located at the intersection of Herbert Road and Sharon Station Road, the settlement is the site of a former stop on the Pemberton and Hightstown Railroad. Except for a few single-family homes in the area, most of the area is farmland. The railroad has since been abandoned and is being converted to the Union Transportation Trail, a rail trail. Sharon is the current northern terminus of the trail.
