Hello, Love, Again is an upcoming Philippine romantic drama film directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana. [1] [2] It is the sequel to Hello, Love, Goodbye (2019), starring Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards. Produced by Star Cinema and GMA Pictures, it is scheduled to be released on November 13, 2024.

Production

Development

On August 1, 2019, during the opening week of Hello, Love, Goodbye, lead actor Alden Richards and director Cathy Garcia-Molina expressed openness to working on a sequel for the film despite the latter's confirming plans to retire from directing to focus on her family. [3] On August 26, 2019, lead actress Kathryn Bernardo has also expressed similar sentiments on doing a sequel for the film. [4]

On May 19, 2024, Deadline Hollywood confirmed that Star Cinema and GMA Pictures will be joining forces to develop the film with Bernardo and Richards reprising their respective roles as Joy and Ethan. Titled Hello, Love, Again, Cathy Garcia-Sampana returned as the director and will be shot in Canada. The film is set for release on November 13, 2024, in the Philippines. [5]

The teaser trailer reveals Kathryn's Joy in gazing at Canada's snowy mountain, the filming location. The sequel centers on Filipinos in Canada. Screenwriters Carmi Raymundo and Crystal San Miguel narrate KathDen's blooming romance amid their hardship and challenges as OFWs. On May 19, 2024, Atty. Annette Gozon-Valdes, Kriz Gazmen and Carlo L. Katigbak, among others held a joint press conference of the upcoming movie showing the start ABS-CBN and GMA film collaboration. [6] [7]
