Boca Raton is a city in Palm Beach County, Florida. It was first incorporated on August 2, 1924, as "Bocaratone," and then incorporated as "Boca Raton" in 1925. The population was 97,422 in the 2020 census, and it was ranked as the 344th largest city in America in 2022. However, approximately 200,000 additional people with a Boca Raton postal address live outside of municipal boundaries, such as in West Boca Raton. As a business center, the city experiences significant daytime population increases. Boca Raton is 45 miles (72 km) north of Miami and is a principal city of the Miami metropolitan area, which had a population of 6,012,331 people as of 2015.

The Henry B. Plant Museum is housed in the south wing of Plant Hall on the University of Tampa's campus, located at 401 West Kennedy Boulevard in Tampa, Florida. Plant Hall was originally built by Henry B. Plant as the Tampa Bay Hotel; a 511-room resort-style hotel that opened on February 5, 1891 near the terminus of the Plant System rail line, also forged and owned by Plant. The Plant Museum's exhibits focus on historical Gilded Age tourism in the Tampa Bay area of Florida, the elite lifestyle of the hotel's guests, and the Tampa Bay Hotel's use during the Spanish–American War. As such, the Plant Museum is set up in the Historic House Museum style. Exhibits display artifacts in a manner that reflects the original placement and usage within the related historic building.

Strawberry Crest High School is a public high school in East Hillsborough County, Florida. It opened on August 25, 2009 with students from Armwood High School, Durant High School and Plant City High School. It was built to relieve the over-population of the students in these high schools. Along with Steinbrenner High School, it is the most recently constructed high school in Hillsborough County. Strawberry Crest is the 4th high school in Hillsborough County to be certified as an International Baccalaureate high school. A number of the instructors for the IB courses come from the International Baccalaureate Program at the older C. Leon King High School, in Tampa.
