The Hudson College of Public Health is one of the seven colleges of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center--the health sciences branch of the University of Oklahoma.

Established in 1967, it is the only college of public health accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health in the state of Oklahoma. [2] The Hudson College of Public Health was ranked number 6 in the Top 10 Colleges of Public Health nationwide by College Magazine. [3] The College bears the name of alumni Dr. Leslie and J. Clifford Hudson for their generous donation. [4] [5]

Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health Public health institution

The Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health is the public health school of Harvard University, located in the Longwood Medical Area of Boston, Massachusetts. The school grew out of the Harvard-MIT School for Health Officers, the nation's first graduate training program in population health, which was founded in 1913 and then became the Harvard School of Public Health in 1922.

The Master of Public Health or Master of Philosophy in Public Health (M.P.H.), Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH), Master of Medical Science in Public Health (MMSPH) and the Doctor of Public Health (Dr.P.H.), International Masters for Health Leadership (IMHL) are interdisciplinary professional degrees awarded for studies in areas related to public health. The MPH degree focuses on public health practice, as opposed to research or teaching. Master of Public Health programs are available throughout the world in Schools of Public Health, Programs in Public Health, Medical Schools, and Schools of Public Affairs. MPH degrees, in addition to including a core curriculum, will usually also let students pursue a specialization in a specific field, such as epidemiology, ophthalmology, biostatistics, or health management.

UC Berkeley School of Public Health

The University of California, Berkeley School of Public Health, commonly called Berkeley Public Health, is one of 14 schools and colleges at the University of California, Berkeley. The School of Public Health is consistently rated alongside the best in the nation, with recent rankings placing its doctoral programs in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Environmental Health Sciences, and Health Policy among the top in their fields, The school is ranked 8th in the country by US News & World Report. Established in 1943, it was the first school of public health west of the Mississippi River. The school is currently accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.

University of Washington School of Public Health

The University of Washington School of Public Health is the only public health school located in the Northwest, and is based on the main campus of the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington. The School is accredited through the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). It ranks among the United States' best schools for public health. U.S. News & World Report ranked the school sixth among all public health schools in its last survey of this discipline (2014).

Texas A&M Health Science Center

The Texas A&M Health Science Center, a component of Texas A&M University, offers health professions research and education in dentistry, medicine, nursing, biomedical sciences, public health, and pharmacy. It was established in 1999 as an independent institution of the Texas A&M University System and received accreditation in December 2002 from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award baccalaureate, master’s, doctoral and professional degrees. The institution merged with Texas A&M University proper on July 12, 2013.

Yale School of Public Health School of public health in Connecticut, U.S.

The Yale School of Public Health (YSPH) was founded in 1915 by Charles-Edward Amory Winslow and is one of the oldest public health masters programs in the United States. It is consistently rated among the best schools of public health in the country, receiving recent rankings of 3rd for its doctoral program in epidemiology. YSPH is both a department within the School of Medicine as well as an independent, CEPH-certified school of public health.

UCLA Fielding School of Public Health

The UCLA Jonathan and Karin Fielding School of Public Health is the graduate school of public health at UCLA, and is located within the Center for Health Sciences building on UCLA's campus in the Westwood neighborhood of Los Angeles, California. The UCLA Fielding School of Public Health has 690 students representing 25 countries, more than 11,000 alumni and 247 faculty, 70 of whom are full-time.

Opened in 1984, the University of South Florida College of Public Health, offers master's degrees in Public Health (MPH), a Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) which is a more academic and research oriented Master's degree, and a Master's degree in Health Administration (MHA), along with a doctorate (PhD) in Public Health and several dual degrees in collaboration with other colleges- most notably the dual PhD/MPH program in Applied Anthropology. The MHA in Public Health Practice is an innovative program for health professionals which can be attained through weekend executive or distance learning format.

The Graduate School of Public Health is one of 17 schools at the University of Pittsburgh. The school, founded in 1948, was first led by Thomas Parran, surgeon general of the U.S. Public Health Service. It is ranked as the 13th best public health school in the United States by U.S. News & World Report. In addition, it is ranked third among public health schools for funding received from the National Institutes of Health. It was the first of only two fully accredited schools of public health in Pennsylvania. The school offers Masters of Public Health (MPH), Master of Science (MS), Master of Health Administration, and doctoral degrees in areas such as behavioral and community health sciences, biostatistics, environmental and occupational health, epidemiology, health policy and management, human genetics, and infectious disease and microbiology.

The Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine is part of Tulane University, located in New Orleans, in the U.S. state of Louisiana.

Drexel University School of Public Health

The Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health is a part of the Drexel University Health Sciences network of schools. The Dornsife School of Public Health was located in downtown Philadelphia from its inception until December 2013. It has since re-located to the University City Campus.

The CUNY Graduate School of Public Health & Health Policy is a public American research and professional college within the City University of New York (CUNY) system of colleges. The school is situated at 55 West 125th Street in Manhattan. CUNY SPH offers doctoral programs, master's programs, several certificates, and faculty memberships in many of CUNY's research centers and institutes. A core roster of over 50 full-time faculty is supplemented by additional faculty members drawn from throughout CUNY.

Colorado School of Public Health

The Colorado School of Public Health is an accredited, collaborative school of public health representing three Colorado public educational and research institutions: the University of Colorado, Colorado State University and the University of Northern Colorado. The school is accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health. The school operates on three university campuses: the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, Colo., Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colo. and the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley, Colo.

University of Iowa College of Public Health

The University of Iowa College of Public Health is one of eleven colleges based in the University of Iowa. Established on July 1, 1999, the college's roots originate in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Environmental Health, and with the Graduate Program in Hospital and Health Administration. Both of these were formerly based in the University of Iowa College of Medicine. The College of Public Health Building has achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Platinum certification, the highest standard for sustainable design.

The University of Kentucky College of Public Health is a school of public health at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, Kentucky, United States.

The University of Illinois at Chicago's School of Public Health is public health school recognized by the Council on Education for Public Health that awards undergraduate and graduate degrees in public health and health administration. Located on UIC's West Campus:, the School of Public Health was founded in 1970 as an expansion of the University of Illinois Medical Center. It later, along with rest of UIMC, was consolidated into the University of Illinois at Chicago. Now constituting one of the 15 colleges of UIC. The school is ranked seventeenth in public health programs in the U.S. News and World Report rankings.
