The first season of the Malaysian Mandarin-language television mystery music game show I Can See Your Voice Malaysia premiered on 8TV on 20 August 2017. [1]
Under the original format, the guest artist(s) can eliminate mystery singers after each round, and ended with the last remaining mystery singer depending on the outcome of a duet performance by themselves. [1]
Each episode presents the guest artist with seven people whose identities and singing voices are kept concealed until they are eliminated to perform on the "stage of truth" or remain in the end to perform the final duet.

Huang Zitao, also known by his stage name Tao, is a Chinese singer. He is a former member of the South Korean-Chinese boy band Exo and its Chinese sub-unit, Exo-M. After leaving Exo, he made his solo debut in China in 2015 with the mini-album TAO, under the new stage name Z.Tao. Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, she began going to recording studios at the age of 4 with her father and recorded a pop studio album five years later. With the help of a famous Malaysian record producer, in 2005 Shila released her second pop studio album, Sha-Hila. Her single "Patah Seribu" (2011) received Pop Song of the Year and Song of the Year at the 19th Malaysian Music Awards.
