I Can See Your Voice franchise |
Mysteerilaulajat (English: Mystery singers) [1] is a Finnish television mystery music game show based on the South Korean programme I Can See Your Voice . It premiered on Nelonen on 16 October 2021. [2]
Presented with a group of seven "mystery singers", a guest artist and a contestant must attempt to eliminate bad singers from the group without ever hearing them sing, assisted by clues and a celebrity panel over the course of five rounds. At the end of a game, the last remaining mystery singer is revealed as either good or bad by means of a duet between them and one of the guest artists. [3]
The contestant must eliminate one mystery singer at the end of each round, receiving €1,000 if they eliminate a bad singer. At the end of a game, the contestant may either end the game and keep the money they had won in previous rounds, or risk it for a chance to win €10,000 by correctly guessing whether the last remaining mystery singer is good or bad.
Nelonen Media formally acquired the rights to produce a local adaptation of I Can See Your Voice in Finland in November 2020, including with production duties assigned by Warner Bros. International Television Production. [4]
Filming of the show took place at Logomo Concert Hall in Turku. [5] [6] During the COVID-19 pandemic, it has filmed under implementing health and safety protocols.
