iriver Inc is an electronics and entertainment company founded in 1999 originally as ReignCom. Headquartered in United States, it is the parent company of South Korean-based MP3 player manufacturer iriver Limited, as well as Yurion and Funcake Entertainment Services. Since 2014, it is a subsidiary of SK Telecom.

History

Seven former Samsung executives created the company in 1999 and made its IPO on the KOSDAQ, a Korean stock exchange, in 2003. Duk-Jun Yang, one of the founders, became the CEO of the company.

ReignCom announced in May 2006 that it would adjust its focus toward handheld mobile gaming. It has reported sluggish sales for its music player business, including a loss of 35.58 billion (US$36.68 million) in 2005, compared with a net profit of 43.46 billion in 2004.

In 2009, ReignCom was renamed as Iriver. [4]

Entry into music

On January 31, 2018, Iriver announced its entry into the Korean music industry. Together with parent SK Telecom and music labels SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, and Big Hit Entertainment, the company launched a new online music store called FLO [5] in the second half of 2018. [1]

On March 28, 2019 Iriver announced that they would renamed to Dreamus Company. [6]

I Am Not is the debut extended play (EP) by South Korean boy group Stray Kids. The EP was released digitally and physically on March 26, 2018 by JYP Entertainment and distributed through Iriver. A debut showcase titled Stray Kids Unveil: Op. 01: I Am Not was held the day before. The album sold 54,733 physical copies for the month of March.

<i>Clé: Levanter</i> 2019 EP by Stray Kids

Clé: Levanter is the fifth extended play by South Korean boy group Stray Kids. It was released on December 9, 2019 by JYP Entertainment and distributed through Dreamus. The EP spawned three singles. Its lead single, "Double Knot", was released on October 9, 2019, followed by "Astronaut" on November 14, 2019 and the title track "Levanter" on the same day as the EP released date.
