The Ishiba Cabinet is the 102nd Cabinet of Japan, formed by Shigeru Ishiba on 1 October 2024, following the resignation of Fumio Kishida after the Liberal Democratic Party presidential election on 27 September 2024. It has 20 members, including two women. [1] The government is a coalition between the Liberal Democratic Party and the Komeito who controlled both the upper and lower houses of the National Diet.

Nakatani was again named to the position of Minister of Defense for the cabinet of Shigeru Ishiba in 2024.
