Tottori 1st district is a parliamentary constituency in Tottori Prefecture that was created in 1994. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the National Diet of Japan since 1996 by Shigeru Ishiba, the Prime Minister and President of the Liberal Democratic Party since 2024.

Municipalities | Kurayoshi, Tottori, Iwami District, Yazu District, and Tōhaku District (Town of Misasa). |
It covers roughly the Eastern half of Tottori and consists of the cities of Tottori and Kurayoshi and the districts of Iwami, Yazu and the town of Misasa in Tōhaku District. In 2012, 256,020 eligible voters were registered in the district. [2] In 2013 the town of Yurihama was transferred to the 2nd district. Before the 2021 elections, the district had 230,959 eligible voters, fewer than in any other single member electoral district. [3]
Before the electoral reform of 1994, the area had been part of the Tottori at-large district where four Representatives had been elected by single non-transferable vote.
Tottori 1st district, like most of Chūgoku, usually votes for conservative candidates. The district is a "conservative kingdom" (保守王国, hoshu ōkoku), a stronghold of the Liberal Democratic Party, and its only representative since its creation has been Shigeru Ishiba (without faction, formerly Nukaga faction), secretary-general, former defense and agriculture minister, son of former Councillor and Tottori governor Jirō Ishiba and grandson of Tarō Kanamori, (appointed) governor of Tokushima and Yamagata in the 1930s.

As of 2012, 377,672 eligible voters were registered in the district. The district was eliminated in the 2022 reapportionments and became the Hiroshima 6th district.
Saitama 3rd district is a constituency of the House of Representatives in the Diet of Japan. It is located in Southeastern Saitama and consists of the cities of Kawaguchi and Koshigaya. As of 2012, 460,884 eligible voters were registered in the district.
Gunma 4th district is a single-member constituency of the House of Representatives in the Diet of Japan. It is located in Southern Gunma and consists of the city of Fujioka, the Southern part of Takasaki city as well as Kanna town and Ueno village in Tano county. As of 2009, 292,356 eligible voters were registered in the district.
Fukuoka 8th district is a single-member constituency of the House of Representatives in the Diet of Japan. It covers Northern central parts of Fukuoka including the city of Iizuka, home to the Asō family and Tarō Asō, Liberal Democratic Party (LDP) faction leader and the only representative for the 8th district since its creation. He was elected LDP president in 2008 against Kaoru Yosano and three other candidates, but resigned one year later following the most devastating general election result in party history – his successor would be the second LDP president in history not to become prime minister after his election. Yet, Asō carried his own district by an overwhelming margin in 2009.
Kanagawa 10th district is a single-member electoral district for the House of Representatives, the lower house of the National Diet of Japan. It is located in Kanagawa Prefecture and consists of Kawasaki and Saiwai Wards of Kawasaki City. In of September 2011, 494,755 voters were registered in the district, giving its voters the second lowest vote weight in the country behind Chiba 4th district. In redistricting in 2022 all areas of Nakahara Ward were transferred to the 18th district.
Gifu 1st district is a single-member electoral district for the House of Representatives, the lower house of the National Diet of Japan. It is located in Gifu Prefecture and covers the capital city Gifu. In September 2023 the district had 334,642 eligible voters. In 2012 they were 325,090.
Yamaguchi 3rd district (山口県第3区) is a single-member electoral district for the House of Representatives, the lower house of the National Diet of Japan. It is located in Western Yamaguchi Prefecture and includes Shimonoseki the largest city in the prefecture.
Tokyo 24th district 東京都第24区 is a single-member constituency of the House of Representatives, the lower house of the national Diet of Japan. It is located in western Tokyo and consists of most of Hachiōji City.
