The Jaame Masjid, also known as the Jaame Masjid Islamic Cultural Centre, [1] is a mosque, located on Lambert Street in Blackburn, Lancashire, England, in the United Kingdom.
The congregation was established from a house in 1962, incorporating two terrace houses, and has since been expanded on several occasions. [2] [3] It became the first Masjid in Lancashire, recognised as the official central mosque of Blackburn. [4]
Darwen is a market town and civil parish in the Blackburn with Darwen borough in Lancashire, England. The residents of the town are known as "Darreners". The A666 road passes through Darwen towards Blackburn to the north, Bolton to the south and Pendlebury where it joins the A6, about 18 miles (29 km) north-west of Manchester.
