Jackelin Arias Kippes (born 1990 in Trinidad, Bolivia), better known as Jackelin Arias, is a former beauty pageant title-holder from Bolivia.

Biography

At the age of 18, Kippes entered the Miss Bolivia 2008 pageant as Miss Beni, and won the title. [1] She went on to represent Bolivia in Miss World 2008 in South Africa. [2] [3] She studied marketing and publicity at university.[ citation needed ]

Miss World 2006 56th edition of the Miss World pageant

Miss World 2006, the 56th edition of the Miss World pageant, was held on 30 September 2006 at the Sala Kongresowa, the main 2,897-seat auditorium of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland. It was the first time ever that the pageant was held in the Continental Europe and a European city other than London, United Kingdom, having previously been held there in 2002 after the Nigeria Controversy. The pageant officially concluded after Taťána Kuchařová from the Czech Republic was crowned Miss World 2006 by outgoing titleholder Unnur Birna Vilhjálmsdóttir of Iceland.

Miss Earth 2001

Miss Earth 2001 was the first edition of Miss Earth pageant, organized by Carousel Productions. The pageant coronation night was held on 28 October 2001 at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City, Philippines. There were 42 delegates who competed in the pageant that focuses on environmental issues. Catharina Svensson of Denmark, a professional equestrienne, fashion model, and third year law student, was crowned as the pageant's first winner.

Claudia Arce Lemaitre is a Bolivian actress, singer, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Bolivia 2009, representing the Department of Chuquisaca. In the development of the contest she won titles as Yanbal Face Best Smile and Best National Costume. Claudia stood for Bolivia in the Queen of the World 2009 contest held at Berlin, Germany, and also in Miss Universe 2010, without success. She was the first woman born in Bolivia's Department of Chuquisaca who participated in Miss Universe.

Paulina Vega of Colombia crowned her successor Pia Wurtzbach of the Philippines at the end of the event. After 42 years, this is the third time the Philippines won Miss Universe, after Margarita Moran in 1973. 80 contestants competed for the crown.

Nellys Rocio Pimentel Campusano is a Puerto Rican model, psychologist and international beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Earth 2019. She became the first-ever Puerto Rican and Caribbean woman to win Miss Earth, one of the Big Four most influential beauty pageants in the world.
