The Jasper Yeates House, also known as the home of WRKY Radio, is an historic American home that is located in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1]

History and architectural features

Built between 1765 and 1766, this historic structure is a four-story, four-bay, brick townhouse. It was designed in the Georgian style, and was the home of prominent Pennsylvania lawyer and justice Jasper Yeates (1745–1817) from 1775 to 1817. [2]

In 1882, it was expanded to add the fourth floor and converted to commercial uses, and was then subsequently restored nearly a century later, with work completed between 1978 and 1979. [2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. [1]

A. B. Hess Cigar Factory, and Warehouses is a historic cigar factory and tobacco warehouse complex located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The complex consist of four rectangular red brick buildings, three to five stories tall. They are the R. H. Brubaker Tobacco Warehouse including the Koenig & Co. warehouse, the Franklin H. Lancaster Armory, also known as Brigadier General Charles P. Stahr Armory, is a historic National Guard armory located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It is a "T"-shaped brick building consisting of a 3-story administration building built in 1937, with a 1 1/2-story drill hall built in 1928, executed in the Colonial Revival style. It measures approximately 90 feet by 200 feet. The building was firebombed in 1982. The building once played host to the Lancaster Red Roses. It was used as a public venue under the name The Stahr Center. Is currently the home of decades restaurant bar and arcade. Lancaster County Courthouse is a historic courthouse building located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The original building was built between 1852 and 1855. The original building was designed by Philadelphia architect Samuel Sloan (1815–1884). The north wing was added between 1896 and 1898, and low flanking wings on either side of the exterior staircase were added in 1926–1927. These later additions were designed by Lancaster architects James H. Warner and C. Emlen Urban, respectively. It is an important example of the Romanesque Revival style.
