Kieran James Bird (born 2 September 1999) is a British swimmer who competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics and 2024 Summer Olympics. ^{[2] [3]}

Biography

Bird attended Millfield School. ^[4]

He competed in the men's 400 metre freestyle event at the 2020 European Aquatics Championships, in Budapest, Hungary. ^[5]

Bird won the 400 metres freestyle at the 2024 Aquatics GB Swimming Championships ^[6] and was subsequently named in the British team for the 2024 Summer Olympics. ^[7] He swam in the heats of the 4 × 200 metre freestyle relay and while he was replaced by Matt Richards for the final, as a heat swimmer he was awarded a gold medal when the British team won. ^{[8] [9]}
