Krishnanagar (also known as Jhandenagar) is a municipality in Kapilvastu district of Lumbini Zone in the western terai part of Nepal. The municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging the existing Krishnanagar, Sirsihawa, Shivanagar village development committees (VDCs). [1] [2] on Nepal's southern border with India across from Barhani Bazar. Movement of Indian and Nepalese nationals across the border is unrestricted, however there is a customs checkpoint for goods. Goods bound for Dang and Arcghakhanchi cross here. Krishnanagar is connected by F-12 Chandrauta-Krishnanagar to the east-west Mahendra Highway and Postal Highway.
Krishnanagar is a wealthy, industrialized village with rice, oil and steel mills, sugar mill and many cement industries. Highway connecting it with other places is an industrial road.[ citation needed ]
Krishnanagar is highly rich in culture, as different religions' people live here and because of the border area, both Indian and Nepalese people, Hindus, Muslims and Sikhs celebrates the festival of Hindu culture, Muslim culture and Sikh culture together.

Birgunj is a metropolitan city in Parsa District in Madhes Pradesh in southern Nepal. It lies 135 km (84 mi) south of the capital Kathmandu, attached in the north to Raxaul on the border of the Indian state of Bihar. Mahendranagar, officially known as Bhimdattanagar, is a municipality in Kanchanpur District of Sudurpashchim Province, Nepal. The city and the municipality were named Mahendranagar in honour of the late King Mahendra of Nepal. After becoming a republic in 2008, the Mahendranagar municipality name was changed to Bhimdatta municipality in honour of the revolutionary farmer leader Bhimdatta Panta. It is surrounded by Bedkot Municipality in the east, Dadeldhura District in the north, Shuklaphanta National Park in the south and Uttarakhand, India in the west.

The municipality was established on 18 May 2014 by merging the existing Govindapur, Umprempur, Yagyabhumi, Dhanushadham village development committees (VDCs). It is a religious place of Hindu worship in Nepal. It is believed that a part of Shiva Dhanusha that was broken by Rama during Sita's swayamvara, is housed. Now there is temple around the remaining of bow and visited by Hindu devotees from all over the world. That's why it is named Dhanushadham.

Sundar Haraicha is a municipality in Morang District of Koshi Province in Nepal. It is centered around Biratchowk town which is the gateway to Biratnagar. Dakneshwori Municipality is located in Saptari District in Madhesh Province of Nepal. It was formed in 2016 occupying current 10 sections (wards) merging previous Kabilasha, Hariraha, Tarhi, Bhuthi, Pato, Aurahi, Brahampur, Gamahariya Parwaha, Patthargada and Banaula VDCs. It occupies an area of 69.11 km2 with a total population of 44,782. Dakneshwori Municipality is named after the famous temple Dakneshwori Bhagwati located at ward no. 5, Pato.
