Kundli municipal council in Sonipat, with a population of 100,000 (2017), [2] is an old village with a modern Kundli Industrial Area in Amritsar Delhi Kolkata Industrial Corridor on Delhi-Haryana border in Rai tehsil of Sonipat district in the state of Haryana. It lies on Delhi Western Peripheral Expressway, Eastern Peripheral Expressway and Grand Trunk Road (NH 44) as well as the planned Delhi-Sonipat Rapid Regional Rail Transport System (RRTS) and Delhi Metro extension. Kundli is 8.604 km from its tehsil headquarters at Rai. Kundli is located 1.6 km (1 mile) north of the Singhu Border, 9.2 km (5.7 miles) southeast of Sonipat city center, 31 km (19.3 miles) northwest of central Delhi and 221 km (137 miles) from its state headquarters Chandigarh. Other villages in Rai Mandal are Akbarpur Barota, Assawarpur, Aurangabad, Badhmalik, Badkhalsa, Bahalgarh, Bazidpur Saboli, Bhaire Bankipur, Bhowapur, Bindhrloi, Chhatehara.

Industrial Model Township Kundli

Industrial Model Township, Kundli (IMT Kundli) or Kundli Industrial Area, established by the HSIIDC in NCR, is a large Industrial areas of Haryana on the northern border of Delhi adjacent to Narela and it lies south of Sonipat. [2] It is the location of National Institute of Food Technology Entrepreneurship and Management (NIFTEM), an upcoming premier research institute of food science by the union Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), [4] Government of India. To its west lie Rajiv Gandhi Education City in Sonipat city and Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram University of Science and Technology in Murthal, and to its east lie the Samaypur Industrial Area at Samaypur, Badli Industrial Area at Badli and Delhi Technological University [5] India. It is also connected by the under implementation Delhi-Sonipat Metro extension of Yellow line to be completed in Phase iV by March 2022. [6] It is part of Amritsar Delhi Kolkata Industrial Corridor (ADKIC) on Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor (EDFC), that is on track. Dr. B. Ravi Pillai, owner of RP Group and the richest Indian billionaire in Dubai and Middle East which employ over 70,000 employees, offered to CM of Haryana in December 2017 to invest in logistics company in Integrated Multimodel Logistics Hub, Nangal Chaudhary (North India's largest logistics hub) and in Prime Minister's Housing for All (PMAY) low-cost urban housing in 3 Industrial Model Townships (IMT) along Delhi Western Peripheral Expressway in IMT Bahadurgarh, IMT Kundli, Sonipat and IMT Manesar with construction to be completed within 1 year. The Western Peripheral Expressway or Kundli-Manesar–Palwal (KMP) Expressway, is an operational 6-lane, 135.6 km (84.3 mi)-long Expressway in the Haryana state of India. Along with the Eastern Peripheral Expressway, the Western Peripheral Expressway is expected to divert more than 50,000 heavy vehicles away from Delhi, which will help to maintain good air quality in Delhi. Western Peripheral Expressway along with Eastern Peripheral Expressway completes the largest Ring Road around Delhi. Each of the 10 entries and exits are tolled. Toll rate notified in december 2018 is INR1.35 per km for cars, INR2.18 per km for light motor vehicles, INR4.98 per km for trucks and buses, and two wheelers are not permitted on the expressway.

Eastern Peripheral Expressway or Kundli-Ghaziabad-Palwal (KGP) Expressway or National Expressway II is a 135 km (84 mi) long, 6-lane expressway(3-lanes in each direction) passing through the states of Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. The expressway starts from the Western Peripheral Expressway at Kundli, Sonipat, passing through Baghpat, Ghaziabad and Noida districts in UP and Faridabad district in Haryana before rejoining the Western Peripheral Expressway near Palwal. Eastern Peripheral Expressway along with Western Peripheral Expressway completes the largest Ring Road around Delhi. Eastern Peripheral Expressway was declared as National Expressway II in 2006.

Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation

National Highway 152D (India)

National Highway 152DExpressway from Gangheri to Narnaul is an under construction barrier-free access controlled tolled 6-lane Expressway in Haryana state of India. This 230 km long diagonal expressway through Haryana state, from Kurukshetra in northeast to Narnaul in southwest, will start from the junction of NH152 near Gangheri and Ismailabad, pass through Kaul Dhatrath, Pundri, Lakhan Majra, Kalanaur, Charkhi Dadri, and terminate at junction with NH148B at Narnaul bypass. Its straight-line greenfield alignment will reduce the distance from the state capital Chandigarh to Narnaul and Jaipur while decongesting NH1 and NH44. The alignment intersects with at least 15 NH including NH9 and several State Highways (SH) including SH6, SH9, SH8, SH11, SH12, SH14, SH10, SH16A, SH20, SH24 and SH26. Area around it is being developed as an industrial corridor.
