Lagetta is a genus of trees in the family Thymelaeaceae. It was described by Antoine Laurent de Jussieu, and was published in 1789 by Jean-Baptiste Lamarck. It is found on the Caribbean islands. [1]

The Plant List was a list of botanical names of species of plants created by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and the Missouri Botanical Garden and launched in 2010. The National Herbarium of New South Wales was established in 1853. The Herbarium has a collection of more than 1.4 million plant specimens, making it the second largest collection of pressed, dried plant specimens in Australia, including scientific and historically significant collections and samples of Australian flora gathered by Joseph Banks and Daniel Solander during the voyage of HMS Endeavour in 1770.
Plants of the World Online (POWO) is an online database published by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. It was launched in March 2017 with the ultimate aim being "to enable users to access information on all the world's known seed-bearing plants by 2020". This was Kew's answer to the "2020 target 1" of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD): "an online flora for all known plants."
