Laura Osorio Hoyos (born 1995) is a Colombian model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Mundo Colombia 2018. She represented Colombia at Miss World 2018. [1]
Miss Mundo Colombia or Miss World Colombia is a national Beauty pageant that selects Colombia's representative to the Miss World pageant. On occasion, when the winner does not qualify for either contest, a runner-up is sent.

She is the first Mexican woman to win Miss World. 118 contestants from all over the world competed for the crown.
Osorio was born and raised in Medellín. She is an Engineering Student of the School of Engineering of Antioquia.

Osorio representing Medellín was crowned the new queen by her predecessor Miss Mundo Colombia 2017 Maria Daza. Twenty eight contestants from all over Colombia competed for the national title. As Miss Mundo Colombia, she had the right to represent Colombia in the Miss World 2018 in Sanya, China. [2]

Cruz was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Jacqueline Bracamontes. She is the first and only Yucateca and the third winner of foreign descent to win this Title.
The 9th Nuestra Belleza México pageant, was held at the World Trade Center of Boca del Río, Veracruz, Mexico on September 6, 2002. Thirty-three contestants of the Mexican Republic competed for the national title, which was won by Marisol González from Coahuila, who later competed in Miss Universe 2003 in Panamá. González was crowned by outgoing Nuestra Belleza México titleholder Ericka Cruz and Christiane Martel Miss Universe 1953. She is the first and only Coahuilense to win this title.
