Lauritz Schoof (born 7 October 1990 in Rendsburg) is a German rower. He was part of the German crew that won the gold medal in the men's quadruple sculls at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. [1] He also successfully defended the quadruple sculls title at the 2016 Rio Olympics as part of the German team. [2]
Schoof was successful at junior and under-23 level, winning a silver medal at the World Junior Championships in the men's quadruple sculls (with Mario Jadatz, Christopher Schang and Bastian Bechler), and gold in the junior men's double sculls with Martin Menger, as well as winning gold in the single sculls at the 2009 U23 World Championship. His first senior World Championship medal came in 2011, when he was part of the German team that won the silver medal behind Australia. His teammates were Karl Schulze, Philipp Wende and Tim Grohmann. [6] This was also the team that won gold at the 2012 Summer Olympics. [7]
In 2013, the team of Schoof, Schulze, Grohmann and Paul Heinrich won the European quadruple sculls title. [8] That team then came second to Croatia at the 2013 World Championships. [9]
In 2015, Schoof, Schulze, Wende and Hans Gruhne won the men's quadruple sculls at the World Championship. [10] This was the team that retained the Olympic title when the German quadruple sculls team won gold at the 2016 Olympics. [11]
Alf John Hansen is a retired rower from Norway. Early in his career, he received two Norwegian sport awards shared with his brother Frank. Towards the end of his career in 1990, he was the inaugural recipient of the Thomas Keller Medal, the highest honour in rowing. His international rowing career spanned more than two decades.

Carina Bär is a German rower. At the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she competed in the women's quadruple sculls competition in which the German team won the gold medal. She had previous won the silver medal in the same event at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Stany Delayre is a French rower. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed with Jérémie Azou in the men's lightweight double sculls, finishing in 4th place. On home water, he and Azou won the 2015 World Championship in that event. Their team also won the silver medal at the 2014 World Championships, and won the 2013, 2014 and 2015 European Championships. In 2009, Delayre was part of the French men's lightweight quadruple sculls time at the World Championships. He was also part of the French under-23s men's lightweight quadruple sculls at the 2006 and 2007 Junior World Rowing Championships.

Peter Chambers is a British rower, and is the brother of fellow rower Richard Chambers. He is a World Champion in the men's lightweight double sculls and an Olympic silver medalist in the men's lightweight coxless four. He is also a decent coach at Marlow rowing club and is leading them to victory.
Kara Michelle Kohler is an American female crew rower. She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the quadruple sculls event. She also has a World Championship gold medal in the coxless four and a World Championship bronze in the single sculls.
Panagiotis Magdanis is a Greek rower. He is a two-time World Champion in the men's lightweight quadruple sculls.
Dmytro Valeriyovych Mikhay is a Ukrainian rower. He won the gold medal in the quadruple sculls at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, with what is still a world's fastest time as of September 2018.
Ivan Viktorovych Dovhodko is a Ukrainian rower. He competed in the quadruple sculls at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Olympics. He won the gold medal in the quadruple sculls at the 2014 World Rowing Championships in Amsterdam, setting a new world's best time. He has won a gold, two silvers and a bronze in the quadruple sculls at European level.
Cristina Grigoraș is a Romanian rower. She finished 4th in the eight at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
