Koen Metsemakers (born 30 April 1992) is a Dutch representative rower. He is an Olympian and an Olympic and world champion. His world championship title was in the men's quad scull won at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. [1] In the Dutch men's quad scull at Tokyo 2020 he won an Olympic gold medal [1] and set a new world's best time for that event.
Metsemakers Dutch representative debut came in 2016 when he raced in a double-scull at the World Rowing Cup III. [1] The following year he secured a seat in the Dutch quad-scull and raced in that boat at all three World Rowing Cups, the European Championships and the 2017 World Rowing Championships in Sarasota, Florida where they finished in overall fourth place. [1] He held that seat in 2018 again competing at three World Rowing Cups, the 2018 European Championships and the 2018 World Rowing Championships in Plovdiv. [1]
In 2019 with Metsemakers at stroke and Stefan Broenink changed out for Tone Wieten, the Dutch quad continued to improve their rankings, winning gold at the European Championships, taking third place at the World Rowing Cup III and then at the 2019 World Rowing Championships in Linz-Ottensheim taking the gold medal ahead of Poland and winning a World Championship title. [1] The crew stayed together with limited international racing in 2020 when they again won the European Championships. [1]
They commenced their 2021 campaign for the delayed Tokyo Olympics with a second placing at the 2021 European Championships and a gold medal at the World Rowing Cup II in May 2021. [1]
Metsemakers took up rowing at University. He completed a master's degree in Dentistry and then commenced medical studies. [2]
Olaf Karl Tufte is a Norwegian rower, firefighter, and farmer. He is a seven-time Olympian, and as a single sculler he was twice the Olympic champion and twice the world champion. He has been consistently selected to the Norwegian men's senior national rowing squad since 1996, including his selection as a 2020 Tokyo Olympian – where he made his seventh Olympic appearance, racing in the men's quadruple sculls.

Martino Goretti is an Italian representative lightweight rower, a current (2019) world champion and a dual Olympian. He has represented at senior World Rowing Championships and World Rowing Cups consistently from 2005 to 2019. He is a four time world champion at the senior level who won three titles in Italian lightweight eights from 2005 to 2009 and then in 2019 won the lightweight single scull world title. He had previously won underage world championships as a junior and an U23.

He is a European champion, an Olympic gold and bronze medallist and is the reigning world champion in the men's quad scull won at the 2019 World Rowing Championships. He won a bronze medal in the eight at the 2015 World Rowing Championships and competed in the men's eight event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, winning a bronze medal. In the Dutch men's quad scull at Tokyo 2020 he won an Olympic gold medal and set a new world's best time for that event.

Georgia Nesbitt is an Australian former representative lightweight rower who made 10 representative appearaances for Australia between 2013 and 2022. She was an seven-time national champion and she won a silver medal at the 2017 World Rowing Championships. In 2022 prior to a serious cycling accident, she competed in Australian Road National championships and had qualified to participate in her age group at the 2023 Ironman World Championships in Helsinki.
Caleb Antill is an Australian representative rower. He is an Olympian, a multiple Australian national champion, was a 2016 U23 world champion and has represented at World Rowing Championships, winning medals in 2018 and 2022. He raced in the Australian men's quad scull at Tokyo 2021 to a bronze medal.
