Lepidemathis is a spider genus of the jumping spider family, Salticidae. The described species are endemic to the Philippines. [1]
Species of Lepidemathis look like larger versions of the related genus Emathis . [2] Lepidemathis is about 10 mm (3⁄8 in) long in females, and up to 13 mm (1⁄2 in) in males. [2]
The genus name is a combination of Ancient Greek lepis "scale" and the related salticid genus Emathis .
