Alberta Darling is an American educator, politician and former member of the Wisconsin State Senate. She represented Wisconsin's 8th State Senate district from 1993 through 2022 as a Republican. Her constituency included many of the municipalities directly north and northwest of Milwaukee and part of the city of Milwaukee. She also served three years in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Before entering public office, she was a teacher and marketing director.

Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district is a congressional district of the United States House of Representatives in southern Wisconsin, covering Dane County, Iowa County, Lafayette County, Sauk County and Green County, as well as portions of Richland County and Rock County. The district includes Madison, the state's capital, its suburbs and some of the surrounding areas. Mark William Pocan is an American politician and businessman serving as the U.S. representative from Wisconsin's 2nd congressional district since 2013. The district is based in the state capital, Madison. A member of the Democratic Party, Pocan is co-chair of the Congressional LGBT Equality Caucus and chair emeritus of the Congressional Progressive Caucus. From 1999 to 2013 he served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 78th district, succeeding Tammy Baldwin there, whom he also replaced in the House when Baldwin was elected to the U.S. Senate.

Christine Lyn Taylor is an American lawyer and former politician from Madison, Wisconsin. Taylor is a judge of the Wisconsin Court of Appeals in the Madison-based District IV court, since August 1, 2023. She previously served three years as a Wisconsin circuit court judge and served nine years as a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing downtown Madison.

The 26th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in south-central Wisconsin, the district comprises nearly all of the city of Madison, Wisconsin, in central Dane County. She previously served ten years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 79th Assembly district from 2013 through 2022.

Katrina Shankland is an American community organizer and Democratic politician from Stevens Point, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 71st Assembly district since 2013. She is a current candidate in the 2024 Democratic primary for United States House of Representatives in Wisconsin's 3rd congressional district.

Melissa Kristen Agard is an American small business owner and Democratic politician from Madison, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin Senate, representing the 16th Senate district since 2021. She also served as minority leader in the Senate for most of 2023. She previously served four terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly, when she was primarily known as Melissa Sargent.

Shelia R. Stubbs is an American politician, pastor, and former probation and parole agent. She is a Democratic member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, elected in 2018, representing the south and west parts of Madison, Wisconsin. She is also a member of the Dane County Board of Supervisors since 2006 and she is Dane County's first African American representative in the Wisconsin Legislature. From 2006 to 2020, Stubbs was the only African American to serve on the Board of Supervisors, however African American representation on the Board is increasing. Beginning in 2020, the Dane County Board of Supervisors installed four other African American supervisors in Anthony Gray, Teran Peterson, April Kigeya, and Dana Pellebon.

Samba Baldeh is a Gambian-American immigrant, information technology professional, and Democratic politician. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 48th Assembly district since 2021. He is the first Muslim member of the Wisconsin Legislature. Before his election to the Assembly, he served six years on the Madison Common Council, and was president of the Council from 2018 to 2019.

Francesca Hong is an American chef, community organizer, and politician from the U.S. state of Wisconsin. A Democrat, she is the representative of the 76th district of the Wisconsin State Assembly, based in the Madison Isthmus. Elected in November 2020, she is the first Asian American member of the Wisconsin Legislature.

Located in south-central Wisconsin, the district comprises the west side of the city of Madison in central Dane County with the exception of several islands, primarily in unincorporated and previously unincorporated peppered throughout the district that are a part of the 80th Assembly District. The district is represented by Democrat Lisa Subeck, since January 2015.

In addition, the ballot contained a special election to fill a vacancy in the 20th State Senate district. The 2015 Wisconsin Spring Primary was held February 17, 2015.
