Calvin Callahan (born March 2,1999) is an American Republican politician. He serves as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly,representing the 35th Assembly district. His district comprises Lincoln County,western Langlade County,and neighboring towns in Marathon,Oneida,and Shawano counties,in north-central Wisconsin. He also serves as a member of the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors,first elected in 2018,and a supervisor of the town of Wilson.
A native of Tomahawk,Wisconsin,Callahan graduated from Tomahawk High School in 2017. [1] In 2023,he enrolled at the University of Wisconsin–Stevens Point,where he is studying for a major in nursing and minor in chemistry. He is slated to earn a Bachelor of Nursing in 2027.
In 2017 and 2018,Callahan worked as an intern in the office of Congressman Sean Duffy. After graduating from high school,Callahan worked as a field organizer and regional field director for the Republican Party of Wisconsin. [2] Callahan was elected to the Lincoln County Board of Supervisors in April 2018,defeating incumbent Kirby Crosby. [3] He was reelected in 2020 without opposition. [4]
On the County Board,Callahan serves on the Administrative and Legislative committee,which oversees county operations,and the Land Services committee,which manages zoning issues. Callahan has been active with the county's Economic Development division,and serves as Lincoln County's sole representative on the regional Central Wisconsin Economic Development Board. [2]
After incumbent representative Mary Felzkowski opted not to seek re-election to the Wisconsin State Assembly and instead run for the Wisconsin State Senate,Callahan announced his candidacy to succeed her. [5] He defeated Don Nelson in the Republican primary and Democratic nominee Tyler Ruprecht in the November general election. [6] At age 21 when elected,he was one of the youngest members of the Assembly. [7]
Callahan resides in rural Wilson,Lincoln County,Wisconsin,near the unincorporated community of McCord,Wisconsin,on the border with Oneida County. He is a member of the National Rifle Association,the Somo Fish and Game Club,the Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association,Wisconsin Trappers Association,Somo ATV Club,and the Wisconsin ATV/UTV Association. Lincoln County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 28,415. Its county seat is Merrill. The county was created in 1875 and named after President Abraham Lincoln.
Wisconsin's 7th congressional district is a congressional district of the United States House of Representatives in northwestern and central Wisconsin; it is the largest congressional district in the state geographically, covering 20 counties, for a total of 18,787 sq mi. The district contains the following counties: Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, St. Croix, Chippewa (partial), Clark, Douglas, Florence, Forest, Iron, Jackson (partial), Juneau (partial), Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Monroe (partial), Oneida, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, Vilas, Washburn, and Wood (partial).
The 12th Senate District of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin State Senate. Located in northern Wisconsin, the district comprises Florence, Forest, Langlade, Lincoln, Menominee, and Oneida counties, and most of Marinette, Oconto, and Vilas counties, as well as parts of northern Marathon County and Shawano County.
Steven P. Doyle is an American lawyer and Democratic politician from La Crosse County, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 94th Assembly district since May 2011. The 94th Assembly district covers most of La Crosse County outside of the city of La Crosse. He also serves on the La Crosse County board of supervisors, and was chairman from 2002 through 2011.

It includes the cities of Antigo, Merrill, and Tomahawk, and the villages of Aniwa, Eland, Maine, Mattoon, and White Lake. It also contains the Council Grounds State Park and about a quarter of the Nicolet National Forest. The district is represented by Republican Calvin Callahan, since January 2021.
