Robert Otto Wittke Jr. (born September 23,1957) is an accountant and Republican politician. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly for the 62nd district,representing the northern half of Racine County. [1]
Born in Racine,Wisconsin,to Robert Wittke Sr. and Margaret Wittke née Jankowski,Wittke graduated from William Horlick High School in 1975 and received a B.A. in accounting from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire in 1980. He worked as a tax accountant for Modine Manufacturing in Racine from 1980 to 1986,then at Snap-on Inc. in Kenosha from 1988 to 1994. He then worked for Deloitte in their tax consultancy from 1994 to 2002. Since 2012,he has been employed by CORPTAX,a tax software as a service company based in Deerfield,Illinois. [2]
Wittke resides in Wind Point,Wisconsin,he is married and has four children.
Wittke first ran for Racine Unified School Board in 2013,placing fourth in a top-three at-large election. [3]
In 2015,the Wisconsin Legislature passed a law requiring Racine Unified School Board seats to be assigned to geographic districts,rather than elected at-large. [4] Wittke ran for the newly drawn ninth district in the 2016 school board elections. He was elected in April 2016,defeating retiree Kurt Squire. A year later,in April 2017,Wittke was elected School Board President. [5]
In April 2018,Tom Weatherston announced that he would not seek re-election to a fourth term representing the 62nd district in the Wisconsin State Assembly. [6] Wittke announced his candidacy for the seat the next day. [7] He defeated John Leiber in the Republican Primary,and went on to defeat former State Senator John Lehman in the 2018 general election. [8] [1]
Wittke announced that he would not seek re-election to the Racine School Board in 2019. [9]

Frank G. Lasee is an American businessman and Republican politician from Brown County, Wisconsin. He was a member of the Wisconsin Senate for seven years, representing Wisconsin's 1st Senate district from 2011 to 2018. He also served 14 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly, from 1995 to 2009, and ran unsuccessfully for United States House of Representatives in 2016.
John W. Lehman is an American educator and politician from Racine, Wisconsin. Lehman represented the 21st District in the Wisconsin Senate from 2007 to 2011 and again from 2012 to 2015, and was the Democratic nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Wisconsin in 2014. Previously, Lehman was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1997 through 2007. Elected as a state senator in 2006 but unseated in 2010, Lehman retook his old seat in the 2012 Wisconsin recall elections, defeating the incumbent, Van Wanggaard, who won the seat back in the 2014 general election.

The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections in Wisconsin were held on November 6, 2018, to elect the eight U.S. representatives from the state of Wisconsin, one from each of the state's eight congressional districts. The elections coincided with other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate, and various state and local elections. The Wisconsin Partisan Primary was held on August 14, 2018, with the governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, odd-numbered Wisconsin State Senate seats, and all Wisconsin Assembly seats on the ballot. Wisconsin was notable in 2018 for being the only state in which the party receiving the majority of votes held a minority of congressional seats.
Gretchen Stephens "Greta" Neubauer is an American politician. A Democrat, she is the minority leader of the Wisconsin State Assembly; she has been a member of the Assembly since January 2018, representing the city of Racine and eastern Racine County.
