The 13th Senate district of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin Senate. Located in south central Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Green Lake and Marquette counties, along with most of Dodge County, western Fond du Lac County, and parts of northern Jefferson County, eastern Adams County, northeast Columbia County, and southwest Winnebago County. It includes the cities of Beaver Dam, Horicon, Markesan, Mayville, Montello, Princeton, Ripon, Watertown, and Waupun.

The 14th Senate district of Wisconsin is one of 33 districts in the Wisconsin Senate. Located in central Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Richland and Sauk counties, along with most of Columbia County and parts of southern Adams County, southern Juneau County, and northern Dane County. It contains the cities of Baraboo, Columbus, Portage, Reedsburg, Richland Center, and Wisconsin Dells, and the villages of DeForest, Lake Delton, Poynette, Prairie du Sac, and Sauk City, and part of the city of Madison. The district also contains landmarks such as Devil's Lake State Park, Dane County Regional Airport, Mirror Lake State Park, Lake Wisconsin and the Kilbourn Dam.

Incumbent Republican Senator Ron Johnson won re-election to a third term, defeating Democratic lieutenant governor Mandela Barnes by 26,718 votes—a one-point margin of victory.

All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. 13 incumbent Assembly members filed papers declaring that they would not run for re-election, including two who announced early vacancies. Right before this election, 63 Assembly seats were held by Republicans, 34 seats were held by Democrats, and two seats were vacant.

Located in west-central Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Richland County, much of the north half of Sauk County, and parts of southern Juneau County, southern Adams County, and northwest Columbia County. It includes the cities of Reedsburg, Richland Center, and Wisconsin Dells, and the villages of Boaz, Cazenovia, Ironton, La Valle, Lake Delton, Lime Ridge, Loganville, Lone Rock, Lyndon Station, North Freedom, Rock Springs, Union Center, Viola, Wonewoc, and Yuba. The district also contains the Dells of the Wisconsin River State Natural Area, Mirror Lake State Park, Dell Creek State Wildlife Area, the Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park, and the Noah's Ark Water Park. The seat is represented by Republican Alex Dallman since January 2021. After the 2024 redistricting, Dallman no longer resides in the new district.

The Wisconsin State Assembly elections of 2022 were held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. All 99 seats in the Wisconsin State Assembly were up for election. This was the first and only election to take place after redistricting following the 2020 United States census, where the courts had put in place maps set out in the Johnson decision. Before the election, 61 Assembly seats were held by Republicans and 38 seats were held by Democrats. The primary election was held on August 9, 2022.

The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Election was held in the U.S. state of Wisconsin on April 4, 2023. The featured race at the top of the ticket was for an open seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, which became the most expensive judicial election in history. Several other nonpartisan local and judicial offices were also decided on the April 4 ballot, including mayoral elections in some of Wisconsin's larger cities—Green Bay, Madison, and Racine. In addition, a special election was held in the 8th State Senate district, concurrent with the Spring elections. The 2023 Wisconsin Spring Primary was held February 21, 2023.
