Eau Claire County is a county located in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, the population was 105,710. Its county seat is Eau Claire. The county took its name from the Eau Claire River.

Located in western Wisconsin, the district comprises all of Eau Claire County, southeast Dunn County, and parts of southern Chippewa County and northern Trempealeau County. Thomas H. Barland is a retired American lawyer, politician, and judge. Most recently, he was the last chairman of the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board before its dissolution in 2015. He was a Wisconsin Circuit Court Judge and County Judge for 33 years in Eau Claire County and served six years in the Wisconsin State Assembly as a Republican.
Tod Ohnstad is an American Democratic politician, retired machinist, and former union representative from Kenosha, Wisconsin. He is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the Wisconsin's 65th Assembly district since 2013.

The district also contains Lake Wissota State Park, Brunet Island State Park, and Timms Hill—the highest natural point in the state of Wisconsin. The district is represented by Republican Karen Hurd, since January 2023.
The 93rd Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in western Wisconsin, the district comprises parts of western Eau Claire County, northern Trempealeau County, and southeast Dunn County. It includes the western half of the city of Eau Claire, along with the city of Osseo and the villages of Eleva and Strum. It contains landmarks such as the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire campus, the Eau Claire campus of Chippewa Valley Technical College, Carson Park, and Water Street Historic District. The district is represented by Republican Warren Petryk, since January 2011.
Angela Mary "Angie" Sapik is an American sales professional and Republican politician from Douglas County, Wisconsin. She is a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing Wisconsin's 73rd Assembly district since January 2023.
