The Sri Lanka men's national cricket team, nicknamed The Lions, represents Sri Lanka in men's international cricket. It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) status. The team first played international cricket in 1926–27 and became an associate member of ICC in 1965. They were later awarded Test status in 1981, which made Sri Lanka the eighth Test cricket-playing nation. The team is administered by Sri Lanka Cricket.
The Bangladesh men's national cricket team, popularly known as The Tigers, is administered by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB). It is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) with Test, One-Day International (ODI) and T20 International (T20I) status. It played its first Test match in November 2000 against India with a 9 wicket loss in Dhaka, becoming the tenth Test-playing nation. Bangladesh became an associate member of the ICC in 1977, and competed in six ICC Trophies, the leading ODI competition for non-Test playing nations.

He currently serves as a Cricket commentator and businessman, and was a former president of the MCC. He is widely regarded as a profound batsman in international cricket and is also an ICC Hall of the fame inductee.
Syed Zaheer Abbas Kirmani PP,, popularly known as Zaheer Abbas, is a former Pakistani cricketer. He is among few professional cricketers who used to wear spectacles. In 1982/1983, he became the first batsman to score three consecutive centuries in one-day internationals. Sometimes known as 'the Asian Bradman', Zaheer Abbas is regarded as one of the finest batsmen in the history of cricket World. In August 2020, he was inducted to the ICC Cricket Hall of Fame.

The Afghanistan Cricket Board was formed in 1995 and became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2001 and a member of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in 2003. After nearly a decade of playing international cricket, on 22 June 2017, at an ICC meeting in London, full ICC Membership was granted to Afghanistan. Alongside Ireland, this took the number of Test cricket playing nations to twelve. It is the first country to ever achieve Full Member status after holding Affiliate Membership of the ICC.

Paras Khadka is a Nepalese professional cricketer. He was the captain of the Nepalese cricket team from 2008 to 2019. All-rounder Khadka is a right-handed batsman, a right-arm medium-fast bowler, and an off break bowler. He made his debut for Nepal against Malaysia in April 2004. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Nepal's first ever One Day International (ODI) match, against the Netherlands, in August 2018. Mohammad Mahmudullah, also known as Riyad, is a Bangladeshi cricketer and former captain of the Bangladesh national cricket team in T20I. He has played First-class and List A cricket for Dhaka Division and has represented Bangladesh in all forms of the game. An all-rounder, he is a lower or middle-order batsman as well as an off spin bowler. He has almost 10,000 runs and 150+ wickets. He is prominent for his ability to finish a close limited over game. He is the first Bangladeshi to score a World Cup hundred. Like Sanath Jayasuriya, Kevin Pietersen, Shoaib Malik, Steve Smith and many more, Mahmudullah started his career as a bowler and then converted into a batsman who could bowl handy off-breaks.
Mohammad Babar Azam, is a Pakistani international cricketer and captain of the Pakistan national cricket team in all formats. Regarded as one of the finest batters in contemporary world cricket, he is the only cricketer in the world to be in the top five rankings across all formats. He is ranked as the number one batter in ODIs, third in T20Is and fourth in Tests. A right-handed top-order batter, he plays for and captains Peshawar Zalmi in the PSL and Central Punjab in domestic cricket of Pakistan. With 42 wins, he is the joint most successful T20I captain of all time.
Rashid Khan Arman is an Afghan international cricketer and captain of the Afghanistan national team in T20I format. In franchise leagues, he plays for Gujarat Titans in the Indian Premier League (IPL), Adelaide Strikers in Australia's Big Bash League (BBL), Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Band-e-Amir Dragons in Afghanistan's Shpageeza Cricket League and MI New York in Major League Cricket (MLC). He bowls right-arm leg spin and bats right-handed.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman Zadran is an Afghan cricketer, who plays for the Afghanistan national cricket team. Two months after his international debut, at the age of 16 years and 325 days, he became the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in a One Day International match. He was one of the eleven cricketers to play in Afghanistan's first ever Test match, against India, in June 2018. It was also his first-class cricket debut. His uncle, Noor Ali Zadran, is also an Afghan international cricketer.
