There is a tradition in Irish politics of having family members succeed each other, frequently in the same parliamentary seat. This article lists families where two or more members of that family have been members of either of the houses of the Oireachtas or of the European Parliament. It also includes members of the Oireachtas who had a relation who served in the House of Commons of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland (1801–1922) for an Irish constituency. Nenagh Éire Óg GAA is a Tipperary GAA club which is located in County Tipperary, Ireland. Both hurling and Gaelic football are played in the "North-Tipperary" divisional competitions. The club is centred on the town of Nenagh.

This is a list of athletes and teams who have won honours while representing Cork GAA in Gaelic games. Cork achieved the Double in senior hurling and gaelic football in 1890 and 1990. Tipperary in 1895 and 1900 is the only other county to achieve this unique feat. The late Teddy McCarthy is the only person to hold the unique record of winning two all Ireland senior medals in hurling and gaelic football in the one year. Another Cork man Brian Murphy is the only man in the history of the GAA to win all Ireland medals at senior u21 and minor level in both hurling and gaelic football.

The Australian Men's Interstate Teams Matches were an amateur team golf competition for men between the states and territories of Australia.
