The Norway men's national handball team represents Norway at international handball competitions, and is governed by the Norges Håndballforbund (NHF). As of 2022, Norway has been in 2 finals.

Leonardstatuetten is a prize awarded by the Norwegian Comedy Writers' Association. The award is named after revue instructor, composer and director Einar Leonard Schanke (1927–1992), who was one of Norway's most important revue personalities. The prize is regarded the highest distinction in Norwegian revue. Awarded from 1968 to 2013, the statuette was given to persons with a significant and lasting importance to Norway's entertainment industry. The statuette was again awarded in 2019, when Eldar Vågan was the recipient.

Forente Artister was a group of Norwegian artists that went together in 1985 to record the song Sammen for livet in order to raise money for the victims of hunger in Africa. The lyrics were written by Halvdan Sivertsen and the melody by Åge Aleksandersen. This project was inspired by Band Aid and Forente Artister was thus part of a large humanitarian initiative. The project resulted in an album which in addition to Sammen for livet also consisted of several newly recorded songs by some of the participators. The song and the project received a special award in the Spellemannsprisen 1985.

The Medal of St. Hallvard is the highest award of the City of Oslo, Norway. It is awarded to people who have made a particularly noteworthy contribution to the City of Oslo. It is named after the city's patron, Saint Hallvard. The medal was designed by goldsmith Jacob Prytz (1886–1962) of the jewelry firm J. Tostrup in Oslo. It has been awarded since 1956.

Tonny is a 1962 Norwegian drama film directed by Nils R. Müller and Per Gjersøe. It was entered into the 12th Berlin International Film Festival.

Det Nye Teater was a theatre that opened in Oslo, Norway, in 1929, and operated independently until 1959, when it merged with Folketeatret to form Oslo Nye Teater. Its original purpose was to support contemporary Norwegian drama.

Trysil-Knut is a Norwegian film from 1942. Rasmus Breistein directed this skiing melodrama during the German occupation of Norway. It tells the story of the legendary skier Knut from Trysil, an ardent patriot at the beginning of the 1800s who uses his skiing skills to prevent war from breaking out between Norway and Sweden. Knut also wins back a property that he was cheated out of and his "princess."

Ung frue forsvunnet is a 1953 Norwegian drama film directed by Edith Carlmar. The film stars Astri Jacobsen, Adolf Bjerke, Lalla Carlsen, Wenche Foss, Espen Skjønberg, and Guri Stormoen.
