Weightlifting at the 2019 Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa was held on 9–13 July 2019 at the Faleata Sports Complex in Tuanaimato. The competition included ten men's and ten women's weight classes, with separate medals awarded in each weight class for the snatch and clean and jerk, as well as for the total lift.
The Oceania Weightlifting Championships is the continental weightlifting championships for Oceanian nations, organised by the Oceania Weightlifting Federation (OWF). Since 1993, the event also incorporates the South Pacific Weightlifting Championships.
Kanah Shenelle Andrews-Nahu is a New Zealand weightlifter. She won the bronze medal in the girls' +63 kg event at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. At the time, she finished in 4th place but Supatchanin Khamhaeng of Thailand was stripped of her gold medal after testing positive for a banned substance.
Brandon Dean Wakeling is an Australian weightlifter. He won the gold medal in the men's 73 kg event at the 2019 Pacific Games held in Apia, Samoa. He represented Australia at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. He also represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games in 2018 and 2022.
Sarah Maureen Cochrane is an Australian weightlifter. She won the silver medal in the women's 64 kg event at the 2022 Commonwealth Games held in Birmingham, England. She also won the silver medal in the women's 64 kg event at the 2019 Pacific Games held in Apia, Samoa.
