Karlos Nasar is a Bulgarian weightlifter and is one of the youngest weightlifting world record holders ever. At 17 years old, he broke the senior 81kg Clean & Jerk world record to win the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, becoming the second youngest world champion in the history of weightlifting at the age of 17 years and 214 days, only beaten by another Bulgarian - Sevdalin Marinov, who became the world champion in the 52 kg in 1985 when he was 17 years and 47 days old. At 18 years old, Karlos broke the world record again, this time in 89kg to win the gold medal in Clean & Jerk at 2022 World Weightlifting Championships, making him the only male weight lifter to hold world records in two different categories. At the 2023 European Weightlifting Championships he set five new World records in the 89kg event in one day in the Junior and Senior categories.
