The Empress's Cup All-Japan Women's Soccer Championship Tournament, since 2018 renamed "Empress's Cup JFA Japan Women's Football Championship" or The The JFA Empress's Cup, is a Japanese Women's football competition. As an elimination tournament, it can be considered the female counterpart to the men's Emperor's Cup in Japan. The name "Empress's Cup" has been used since the 2012 season as the Empress's Cup trophy was founded in that year.
Emperor's Cup and Empress' Cup All Japan Volleyball Championship is a Japanese volleyball competition that was established in 2007. It is organized by the Japan Volleyball Association.

Ōdō Tournament is a professional wrestling tournament held annually by All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) since 2013. Yūki Ishikawa is a Japanese male professional volleyball player from Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture.
The All-Japan Artistic Gymnastics Championships are an artistic gymnastics competition, hosted by the Japan Gymnastic Association. The first edition took place in 1947, and the championships has been held annually since then.
Hiroshi Ikehata is a Japanese male weightlifter, competing in the 62 kg category and representing Japan at international competitions. He participated at the 1996 Summer Olympics in the 59 kg event and at the 2000 Summer Olympics in the 62 kg event. He competed at world championships, most recently at the 1999 World Weightlifting Championships.
Rika Usami is a Japanese karateka. She won a Gold medal in individual kata at the 2012 World Karate Championships after previously winning Bronze at the 2010 Championships. She also won Gold in the same category at the 2010 Asian Games. As of March 2021, Usami is coaching the karate team at Kokushikan University.
The 2020–21 Japan Figure Skating Championships were held in Nagano, Nagano from December 23–27, 2020. It was the 89th edition of the event. Medals were awarded in the disciplines of men's singles, ladies' singles, and ice dance. The results were part of the Japanese selection criteria for the 2021 World Championships.
The 104th Japan Championships in Athletics was held at Denka Big Swan Stadium in Niigata. Organised by JAAF, the three-day competition took place from 1–3 October and served as the national championships in track and field for the Japan. The competition originally intended to serve as the qualifying trial for Japan at the 2020 Summer Olympics, but both the national championships and the Olympics were postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Japan. The long-distance competitions were held separately from the main track and field competition, with 3000 metres steeplechase, 5000 metres and 10,000 metres all set to take place on 4 December at the Nagai Stadium.
Kento Miyaura is a Japanese male volleyball player from Kumamoto City, on the island of Kyushu. Currently, he plays in LNV Ligue A Masculine for Paris Volley. He used to be the captain of Japan U-19 team and Waseda University's club.
Taichi Fukuyama is a Japanese volleyball player. He currently plays for Japan national team and JTEKT Stings in V.League Division 1. He was the captain of the Waseda University volleyball club and the Japanese national team at the 2017 Eastern Asian Men's Volleyball Championship.
Tsubasa Hisahara is a male Japanese former Volleyball player who played for Panasonic Panthers in V.League Division 1. He used to be the captain of Japanese youth national team and was a part of Japan men's national volleyball team.
Keito Yamakita is a Japanese mixed martial artist. He currently competes in the strawweight division of Pancrase and ONE Championship, where he is the reigning Pancrase Strawweight champion.
The 2022 All Japan High School Women's Soccer Tournament marked the 31st edition of the referred annually contested women's cup for High Schools over Japan. The tournament was contested by 32 high schools in a knockout-stage format. The final was played one day prior to the men's final on 8 January 2023, at the Noevir Stadium Kobe. The Kamimura Gakuen High School were the defending champions, winning the last championship by 3–0 against the Hinomoto Gakuen High School.

The 2024 Emperor's Cup [Emperor's Cup JFA 104th Japan Football Championship ] will be the 104th edition of the annually contested cup, starting on 25 May. It will as usual feature 88 teams representing the prefectural football associations, J1 League, J2 League and Japan Football League.
