Cẩm Phả is a city of Quảng Ninh Province in the north-east region of Vietnam. It is an important coal exporting port of Vietnam. As of February 2012, the city had a population of 195,800. The city covers an area of 486 km2. The city was promoted from Cẩm Phả District by February 2012. Cẩm Phả was the site of one of the biggest coal mines in south of Asia which has been exploited for almost a century. The coal mine featured on a special commemorative Vietnam stamp in March 1959. Coal still forms the basis of Cẩm Phả's local economy, with other industries including quarrying, lime production, port, agriculture, forestry and fisheries.
Đàm Thanh Xuân is a former wushu taolu athlete from Vietnam. Currently, she now works at the Department of International Cooperation and General Department of Physical Education and Sports.
Vietnam competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 5 to 21 August 2016. It was the nation's ninth appearance at the Olympics, with the exception of the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, because of the Soviet boycott.
Phạm Hồng Nam is a Vietnamese badminton player, specializing in doubles play. He was the champion at the 2016 Vietnam International Series in the men's doubles with his partner Đỗ Tuấn Đức.
Đặng Thị Linh Phượng is a Vietnamese powerlifter who has competed for her country at the ASEAN Para Games, and the Summer Paralympics.
The Vietnam national badminton team represents Vietnam in international badminton team competitions. The national team is controlled by the Vietnam Badminton Federation, the governing body for badminton in Vietnam. The Vietnamese team competes in the biennial Southeast Asian Games and have made several achievements in badminton at the games.
Nguyễn Thị Mỹ Đức is a former wushu taolu athlete from Vietnam. She was a triple medalist at the World Wushu Championships, triple medalist at the Asian Wushu Championships, and an eight-time medalist at the Southeast Asian Games. She also won the bronze medal in women's changquan at the 2002 Asian Games. She retired in 2007 and became a coach.
The 2022 VTV Awards is a ceremony honouring the outstanding achievement in television on the Vietnam Television (VTV) network from August 2021 to the end of 2022. This year, all activities for the award ceremony had not been launched until the 52nd anniversary of VTV establishment on September 7. It was announced that the ceremony is officially moved to January 1, produced as a New Year show from now on.
Châu Tuyết Vân is a Vietnamese athlete and Taekwondo practitioner. She is a member of the Vietnamese Taekwondo national team, with a record of 6 consecutive gold medals at the SEA Games, 5 consecutive gold medals at the World Championships, 2 consecutive gold medals at the Asian Games, and 1 Gold Medal at the Southeast Asian Games in the synchronized poomsae event. She achieved the sixth-degree black belt certification in 2018 at the age of 28.
Hứa Văn Huy is a Vietnamese Taekwondo athlete. He is a member of the Vietnamese Taekwondo national team.
Vũ Thị Hoa is a Vietnamese footballer who plays as a forward for Women's Championship club Hà Nội I and the Vietnam women's national team.
