The Norway women's national football team represents Norway in international association football. It is fielded by the Norwegian Football Federation, NFF, the governing body of football in Norway, and competes as a member of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA), which encompasses the countries of Europe. Norway competed for the first time on 7 July 1978, in a match the team lost 1–2 against Sweden.
Norway has competed in numerous competitions, and all players who have played between 55 or more matches, either as a member of the starting eleven or as a substitute, are listed below. Each player's details include her usual playing position while with the team, the number of caps earned and goals scored in all international matches, and details of the first and most recent matches played in. The names are initially ordered by number of caps (in descending order), then by date of debut, then by alphabetical order. All statistics are correct up to 8 November 2019.

The Norwegian Football Cup is the main knockout cup competition in Norwegian football. It is run by the Football Association of Norway and has been contested since 1902, making it the oldest football tournament in the country. The tournament is commonly known as Cupen, NM or NM Cup, an acronym formed from Norgesmesterskap. These terms are used to describe both the men's and women's competitions. The equivalent competition for women's teams is the Norwegian Women's Football Cup.
The Norway women's national football team is controlled by the Football Association of Norway. The team is former European, World and Olympic champions and thus one of the most successful national teams. The team has had less success since the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.
Solveig Ingersdatter Gulbrandsen is a Norwegian footballer currently playing for Kolbotn of the Toppserien. At club level she has previously represented Kolbotn, FC Gold Pride, Vålerenga Fotball Damer and Stabæk. With the Norwegian national team Gulbrandsen accrued 183 caps, scored 55 goals and won the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Isabell Lehn Herlovsen is a Norwegian former football player.
Ingrid Hjelmseth is a Norwegian former footballer who played as a goalkeeper. She was Norway's No. 1 for a decade, and her former club Stabæk name her a legend.
Ane Stangeland Horpestad is a Norwegian former footballer who captained the Norway women's national football team. A cultured central defender, she represented Klepp and Kolbotn of the top Norwegian league, the Toppserien. She is from the seaside village of Orre in South-West Norway and lives in the town of Sandnes near Stavanger. Before joining Klepp at the age of 16 she played football only on boys' teams.
Trine Bjerke Rønning is a former Norwegian footballer. She has previously played for Trondheims-Ørn and Kolbotn. Since making her Norway women's national football team debut in October 1999, she has won over 150 caps. Rønning represented her country at the 2005, 2009 and 2013 editions of the UEFA Women's Championship, after being a non-playing squad member in 2001. She also played at the 2003, 2007, 2011 and 2015 FIFA Women's World Cups, as well as at the 2008 Olympic football tournament. In February 2015 she was appointed captain of the national team.
The 2013 UEFA Women's Championship, commonly referred to as Women's Euro 2013, was the 11th European Championship for women's national football teams organised by UEFA. The final tournament, held in Sweden from 10 to 28 July 2013, became the most-watched in the history of the Women's Euros. It concluded with Germany, the defending champions, winning their sixth consecutive and eighth overall Women's Euro title after defeating Norway in the final.
The Norway national under-17 football team, controlled by the Football Association of Norway, is the national under-17 football team of Norway.
Stabæk Fotball Kvinner is Stabæk IF's women's football team, started on 23 October 2008 with a core of players from Asker. Asker had lost its licence to play in the top league after a failure to meet financial targets, and Stabæk's chairman Mimi Berdal arranged for the new team to be formed within Stabæk IF. The team was immediately joined by other players including Solveig Gulbrandsen.
Ada Martine Stolsmo Hegerberg is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a striker for the Division 1 Féminine club Lyon and the Norway national team.
Vålerenga Fotball Damer is the women's football branch of Vålerenga Fotball. Based in Oslo, the team plays in Norway's top league, Toppserien.
The UEFA Women's Euro 2013 final was an association football match on 28 July 2013 at the Friends Arena in Solna, Sweden, to determine the winner of UEFA Women's Euro 2013. The match was won by the defending champions Germany, who earned their sixth consecutive European title – and eighth in total – with a 1–0 win over Norway.

Guro Reiten is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a winger for English Women's Super League club Chelsea and the Norway national team. Before joining Chelsea in 2019, she played in Norway for Sunndal, Kattem, Trondheims-Ørn, and LSK Kvinner.
Ingrid Syrstad Engen is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Spanish Primera División club Barcelona and the Norway national team. She previously played for Trondheims-Orn and LSK Kvinner in Norway and Wolfsburg in Germany before joining Barcelona in 2021.
