This is a list of the suburbs and localities of Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia.
Rockhampton is a city in the Rockhampton Region of the Central Queensland coast, Australia. The population of the Rockhampton Significant Urban Area in the 2016 Census was 76,985, making it the fourth-largest city in the state outside of the cities of South East Queensland. and the 22nd-largest city in Australia.
Queensland is the second-largest and third-most populous state in the Commonwealth of Australia. Situated in the north-east of the country, it is bordered by the Northern Territory, South Australia and New South Wales to the west, south-west and south respectively. To the east, Queensland is bordered by the Coral Sea and Pacific Ocean. To its north is the Torres Strait, with Papua New Guinea located less than 200 km across it from the mainland. The state is the world's sixth-largest sub-national entity, with an area of 1,852,642 square kilometres (715,309 sq mi).
Australia, officially the Commonwealth of Australia, is a sovereign country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands. It is the largest country in Oceania and the world's sixth-largest country by total area. The neighbouring countries are Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, and East Timor to the north; the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu to the north-east; and New Zealand to the south-east. The population of 25 million is highly urbanised and heavily concentrated on the eastern seaboard. Australia's capital is Canberra, and its largest city is Sydney. The country's other major metropolitan areas are Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide.

| Rockhampton City | CBD | 2,244 | Rockhampton City, which forms the central business district of Rockhampton in Queensland, Australia, is home to many regional offices of various government organisations as well as many private companies, serving as a hub for Central Queensland. There has been extensive construction in the city centre over the last 10 years. Rockhampton CBD is home to the East Street Mall. The East Street Mall spans one city block and consists of around 40 shops including food, fashion, shoes, home wares, chemists and banks. The East Street Mall underwent a million dollar redevelopment in 2003 as part of the CBD beautification, it included the return of vehicular traffic to the Mall. The CBD also features Rockhampton's beautiful Riverbank Parklands. The Riverbank Parklands were constructed in 1998 and are home to the Twilight Markets and Twilight Movies which are held at the start of every month. The beautiful heritage buildings features 26 buildings of historical significance in three blocks of Quay Street and East Street. Rockhampton's major southside shopping centre, City Centre Plaza, is located in the CBD on Bolsover Street. The shopping centre features Coles and Target and 36 speciality shops and above and underground car parking. |

| Wandal | 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) north-west of the CBD | 4,237 | The area was originally surveyed in the 1860s, shortly after the town of Rockhampton was laid out and was originally the location of several large estates built by wealthy Rockhamptonites, particularly W.H. Wiseman, John Jardine, William Knox D'Arcy and P.F. MacDonald. Closer suburban development occurred later in the nineteenth century and into the early twentieth century. Several schools were established in the area. The Hall School, the local primary school, was established for Girls and Infants in 1910. Leichhardt Ward School, a Boys' School, closed in 1987 and was combined with The Hall State School. The Rockhampton State High School, which was built in Exhibition Road in 1961. At that time the High School was connected with the Rockhampton Technical College, but the School and the Tech separated in 1962. Wandal is also the location of the Rockhampton "Show Grounds", the Exhibition Grounds belonging to the Rockhampton Agricultural Society. |

In 1948, St Francis Xavier School was opened near the botanical gardens, serving as the local Catholic Primary School for girls to Year 7 and boys to Year 4, until its closure in 1974 when it was amalgamated with St Peter's Parish. West Rockhampton is also the location of the Rockhampton Airport, the Rockhampton Base Hospital, the Rockhampton Botanical Gardens and the Brothers Rockhampton Roos, the local Australian rules football club. |
