Note
  1. Certain award groups do not simply award one winner. They recognize several different recipients, have runners-up, and have third place. Since this is a specific recognition and is different from losing an award, runner-up mentions are considered wins in this award tally. For simplification and to avoid errors, each award in this list has been presumed to have had a prior nomination.

Romeo Santos is an American singer who has received awards and nominations for his contributions to the music industry. Santos was the lead singer and composer for Aventura, an American band which infused Dominican bachata music with hip-hop and R&B, [1] and as of 2011, sold over 1.7 million records in the United States. [2] During his time with the band, Santos received twelve American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) awards including Songs of the Year for his compositions "Un Beso", "Mi Corazoncito", and "Dile al Amor". He also received an ASCAP award in 2006 for Frankie J's cover of "Obsesión" and was named Latin Songwriter of the Year in 2012 and 2013. [3] Santos wrote and performed "No, No, No" for Mexican singer Thalía on her album El Sexto Sentido: Re+Loaded (2006) which earned the duo a Lo Nuestro award for Pop Song of the Year and three Premios Juventud nominations.

Contents
